See I generally agree with you here. If you don't like it make alternative arrangements. So move or home school or whatever. Where I personally disagree is making it a v religion agenda. Now this is just my opinion here and I think 4 is too young to be taught certain things. Let kids be kids I honestly see an agenda here from the moffat guy, the teacher. He is gay and good luck to him. But as a kid and an adult what a person in a teaching position does is their business. Coming out in assembly is no different to me than saying I am straight in assembly. Don't care really. No place for it. It's assembly Just to put it in perspective I sent my kids to mosque when they were young. It was a sufi inclined mosque. Something I don't practise. The purpose of the mosque was to learn and read Arabic. When the imam started to force his Sufi ideals on the kids I spoke to him saying that wasn't his job. He insisted so I removed my kids. It's that simple. I still see and speak to the fella but he wasn't employed to promote Sufism. It's complicated these days with some **** parents if I'm honest but a school should be about teaching maths, science, English etc. Stuff like sex Ed should be age appropriate and ideally a parents job. Not that simple I know
Who and about what? Idi Amin? Osama Bin Laden? The Sultan of Brunei? Yes Duncan they are all brown, they are/were all muslim and they are/were all bigots. But none of them made a point of saying **** to me on this forum so I'm sorry if I haven't mentioned it before
No I was reading the Guardian and saw this story. You clearly don't hold Fan to the same standard as non Muslims because you don't want to offend his sensibilities. You know he's a bigot though.
You get ****s in all walks of life. From what I am reading though there is genuine concern, across the board, about what is appropriate at what age. Some I agree with. The focus has become lgbt
Just answer the question or say you won't. Why try to avoid, it's just silly Duncan and kind of reinforces my earlier point about the nub of the problem here
Wtf are you on about?? Shouting what about race equality?? Where?? Have you been at the spliffs again?
I think a lot of it has been totally blown out of proportion though, from my understanding all is being done is letting kids know that some people have a mummy and daddy, some people have a daddy and daddy, etc and that’s cool too. How is that a problem? To anyone? I think people are making it out to be something it’s not.
Take your first point ... bit there is still no place in the 21 st century world for a 'law' that criminalizes sexual activity between consenting adults and punishes transgression by stoning to death.... If God exists (and I'm not suggesting one way or the other) and has a problem with somebody's sex life, surely he can deal with it once they have popped their clogs and stand before him .... her ... it.
... but who is letting Si's kids know that they have a twat? ... strike that ... they are bound to have worked it out
Would you be comfortable with your son marrying a homosexual? I have asked this 3 times already as dribble will condemn your bigoted behaviour. Unless you are Muslim of course
You know the alt left isn’t a thing. Also I have stated I don’t see any reason why this education isn’t acceptable.
No. Still no spliffs. I don't consume any mind altering substances, at all. Is the sun and alcohol going to your head? It was quite clear what I was saying. I was replying to your 'Just leave things alone' comment. It's an outdated thought process you have which is common with your generation through lack of understanding. White kids don't go around bullying black kids in this country no more because education has helped play a big part in different races mixing to become the norm. So, I was saying back in the day when black people were terribly abused and campaigns were trying to change things, were you screaming 'Just leave things alone' then? There’s a stigma attached to LGBT that needs to be addressed to remove it and that starts with kids who are the future of our country. It will take time but if we start now by the time these kids grow up the stigma will be removed.
