Finished GOT last night, after a weeks interruption whilst the lounge was ripped apart. All set for the new series now.
It's a BBC thing so I'm going to start it sometime this week, great reviews. A dry-witted young woman attempts to navigate modern life in London while trying to come to terms with a recent tragedy.
I didn't really like it that much. I thought her comedy "crashing" was much better. A few laughs but not many, the whole Lovejoy-ey way of speaking to the camera is annoying.
Finished season 3 of Santa Clarita Diet. I think I described season 1 as kind cheesey on here, but overall show gets better as it goes along. Stays pretty cheesy throughout, but the acting gets more tolerable as it goes on and comedy moves on from the "oh look I'm eating people" stage. I really enjoyed season 3. Maybe I've just become desensitised to the cheese.
DC have completely lost the plot churning that ****e out. I watched the trailer at the cinema and was waiting for something to make it novel, but it just looked completely ****.
I've spoke to a few people that's seen it and said it's decent but they're the type of people that would say anything is decent
I just think that off-beat super hero films have moved on so much with different "out of the box" approaches that this just looks dated.
