Liverpool have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Napoli and Italy winger Lorenzo Insigne, after th Jurgen Klopp talks Bayern… Jurgen Klopp has refused to rule out managing Bayern Munich but insists he is happy at Anfield for now. The Bayern job could be up for grabs in the summer as current boss Niko Kovac is under pressure despite leading them to the top of the Bundesliga with a 5-0 win over Borussia Dortmund on Saturday. “I have a contract at Liverpool until 2022. And no one here has the feeling that we should end it – neither from the side of the owner nor my side,” he said. “I do not know (about managing Bayern). There’s a long way to go. “Basically, football is like this: The opportunity has to be right, and the timing has to be right. “But I’m totally happy here and do not feel like I’m finished here. Our team has a good age structure and we can work together for a while.” e winger admitted he could be tempted into leaving the Italian giants. Jurgen Klopp is keen on reuniting with Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandoski at Liverpool, according to the Sunday People. The national newspaper’s print edition (Sunday April 7th, page 52) claims that while the Reds manager is keen to bring the 30-year-old forward to Anfield, they’re yet to show their hand in the race for him. The People report that Chelsea have made contact with Lewandoski’s advisers over potentially signing him, despite the fact it would take a least an offer of £70million in order to tempt Bayern Munich into selling him.
hilarious story today. someone is obviously.making money off football.index here chimes.club wants to pay 50mil fee and 300k per week wage demand to no not mane or some such. seriously.... mitrovic...
he's also.joining Utd and Chelsea btw. getting to the point for.me where unless a rumour is actually half realistic it should just be ignored
Depends on his contract? place are safe so that firmly put him in the "young premier league, english wonderkid" category so it must be hefty. It should be noted he's currently;y only played england u21 so in theory he could be poached by DR congo. I googled up the info anyway... contracted to 2022 so 70mil? bearing in mind city set the bar on full backs fees and the transfers have only climbed since.
It would be great for the club but I think they both too good to be sat on a bench. If both played along with Gomez, we definitely not be lacking pace in the side... Alisson Wan-Ba - Gomez - VVD - Robbo Trent - Fabinho - Keita Salah - Firmino - Mane Only the highlighted two aren't fast as ****! (can swap Keita for any of the other CMs and it's the same)
Other than the fact we won't get the kid from palace.... and Taa is learning his trade as a quality RB sure why not I've no real objections lads but its just not going to happen, he's going to be priced out and someone else will point he's only had a short time at this level etc etc. I we have our back 5 with trent and our front 3 then its really down to midfield.... whats the midfield to really match city as the greatest side on the planet ever... Like... silva fernandinho KBD/B.Silva Its going to have to change over at the eithad too fairly soon, due to age.
Obviously it's not going to happen but it's more interesting to discuss that than the 7,364th **** rumour that sees a 34yr old LB joining for £87m to be backup to Robbo
Pretty sure that long term, the plan was for TAA to move to midfield. It's not a pressing issue as he's thriving at RB now, but he won't stay there.
but at the same time he may prove to be only a decent midfielder whereas today he could be a top top RB. He's now had 2 years at top football level learning how to play RB, he'd have to start from scratch learning midfield role.... It'd be like saying Jame milner is a winger/CB/RB... he can fill in but he's a pretty average full back at best, his body shape and positioning are poor.
Acutally, no. Someone on another website knows a fair few people in the football community and the coaches at the club have said for years that they see TAA as a midfielder long term. But
I happen to agree, I'd keep him as RB as he's damn good there and only going to improve. But players have been moved around in the past and had positions changed, if they see TAA as a midfielder more so than a RB, he must have some serious ability we've not seen much of!
