Off Topic Summer Holiday Plans

Went to Mexico with my youngest daughter and her feller last September. They were already there. Mexico City to Oaxaca City to Puerto Escondido to Mazunte (latter 2 Pacific coast). Had a ****ing great time and wanted to do it again with my eldest this year. However, I need a new ****ing boiler, so likely to be somewhere in Greece for 10 days and possibly a long weekend in Eindhoven with a couple of the lads

 

Crikey....seems like everyone is off to Ho-Land with t'lads this year....can't for the life of me figure out what the attraction is.

Probably a few days in Istanbul and a few in Cappadocia.

 

Cappadocia is next on my list. Wanna see it from a hot air balloon.

 

You will enjoy it mate, will be well hot. They love the English there, WWIi and all that. St Julians is good, we stayed at Bugibba, didn't really see a cloud for a fortnight!

Yep that is on the list. Went there when I was working in Ankara on my first work trip almost 40years ago now. Guess it will have changed a bit!

 

Probably doing a solo holiday this year, started seeing a new girl recently but not ready to take her on holiday yet.

Just started a new 6 month job, so around September when it finishes looks best, maybe Greece or Turkey, anywhere I can get a full board for and just lie on the beach and drink beer for a week.
