9 points in the last 6 matches and did you really expect to win against a team that has only lost to Man City? I'm not counting chickens but the odds are still in our favour with our run in not including any of the top 6 and Cardiff have to get at least 2 wins and we have still got 'Udders and a woefully out of form Bournemouth yet to play at SMS.
Ian not sure anyone has said Wolves will be beaten or taken for granted. Most of us are ****ting ourselves about them. And we played first or second best team in the country. Perspective.
I don't do consensus Rorschach. If you look closely at my comment I was suggesting that Manchester United may reach the final.at Liverpool's expense. And I don't get this dislike of either Spurs or Liverpool. Let's all agree our biggest dislike is Chelsea and their vile, supporters. Liverpool's are great compared to them.
I'd sooner see the Champions League trophy snatched from Klopp's desperately clutching hands than for Man Utd to progress to the final. And I'd love to see Tadic score against Liverpool, because they didn't manage to buy him from us. All those players who went to Liverpool to win trophies would start looking elsewhere for their chance of silverware. Chelsea, don't really register tbh, and I don't know any of their fans. I know plenty of Liverpool fans, and they mostly annoy the **** out of me
Bottom half of the "last 6 games" table, with points gained: 11 Southampton 9 12 Wolverhampton Wanderers 8 13 Newcastle United 7 14 Burnley 6 15 Brighton and Hove Albion 6 16 Tottenham Hotspur 4 17 AFC Bournemouth 4 18 Huddersfield Town 3 19 Cardiff City 3 20 Fulham 0 Given that, why do you claim that it's a fact that "we are not picking up points"? By all means be as worried as you like about whether Cardiff will catch us (after all, it's your outlook that matters) but the idea that we're not picking points up is, bluntly, absolute bollocks. Vin
I think we shall have to agree to disagree on that. I have found Liverpool fans to be very knowledgeable and fair in their assessments of both their own team and the opposition once the opposing team has gained their respect. As for Chelsea fans they exist far and wide, even in deepest Hampshre which is odd gven that there are two fine teams on the Solent
I have always had a soft spot for Chelsea because a) my grandad supported them, and b) Peter Osgood won the FA Cup with both Chelsea and Saints. Neither my grandad nor Peter Osgood were racist or in any way vile.
There's so many gambling companies out there now. So they must be making money. Sounds like a losers game to me! Only bet what is fun to lose. Or don't bother at all.
