I wasn't getting irritated by those esteemed gents views of the game, I agree it's great to get a "from the game" view. It's those of armchair wallahs, like me, who appear to use the same diatribe each time we lose that irritates me. Perhaps I should just "go with the flow" but I can't all the time. If I don't agree then surely I have as much right to say I don't as the next person?
It's great to be there live Eric, but when I do get over I can't remember the match and sometimes you get a better, uninterrupted view on your armchair. I mean who the **** goes to a footy match and stays sober.
Itll be hard not to be sober at the Villa one. Its a 12 o clock Sunday kick off. You might get your best ever view of Elland Road
I go to every game home & away & sing my heart out. I applauded the players off the pitch at the end of the game even though they didn't deserve it Such a shame our players didn't have a fight for a battle as the dedication our fans give week in week out
Birmingham defended very well, was impressed with their CB Dean plus they have a powerhouse of a striker in Che Adams, no one is gonna knock him off the ball with ease unlike our sugar-plum fairy upfront. 22 goals in 40 games for Adams, just the type of striker we require, cost Brum a pittance of what we paid for Bamford, Roofe & Roberts combined. We were very poor !
We choose the wrong options far too often : Bamford should have headed the ball with his first chance & anticipated the tap-in quicker for his 2nd opportunity Roberts should have crossed to Harrison or Alioski rather than shoot from a very tight angle Alioski should have shot with the ball on his left peg when he got into their box but for some reason decided to cross the ball So many corner kicks wasted Set-piece from just outside the box, a feeble shot into the wall
lets hope monk does leeds a favour and brum play out of their skin against sheff utd tomorrow and leeds can overcome nerves and beat preston
