Away they play without the moans and groans of our fans. Away our fans sing loudly throughout the game. Yes it picked up when we went 2-1 up but then went back to almost silence. The clue was in getting every one in 15 minutes early to try and raise the atmosphere. LJ even made that comment in the beginning of the season regarding Matty Taylor has a song hence he brought him on. It was a tongue in cheek response to get the fans singing and chanting. IMO they’ve moved section 82 to the wrong place. I can understand the logic in putting them in between the South Stand and Dolman to try and get other stands to join in, but to me it’s not working. Fans need to hear away fans to banter with moving the singing section away allows the away team to hear their fans and give them the edge.
ROD is correct. I’ve been to away games and everyone is right behind the team and LJ. Loads of noise and singing. Ashton Gate - as nice as it is as a stadium - doesn’t have the same atmosphere (apart from the Man U game which was amazing). It’s quiet - until someone scores. But you can hear the opposition fans singing in the Attyeo stand really clearly. Not LJs fault but the management team need to address this urgently
Other than on the box I haven't watched City. I'll be watching Bailey Wright tonight with interest, if selected. The last time I saw him play live, he was poor and commented on here 'I could only see him in a 3 at the back'. He's not good enough to play alone just with a CH and will never make a RB, although fair play for helping City out through injuries. Has he improved ? WTF has happened to Baker, is it because Kallas is left footed ? Genuine question, I haven't seen City or Kallas play live for 2 years.
