Jeff Stelling reported this today saying Sky had sent a film crew to Fort William for their match v Nairn County only for deer sh*t to intervene...
Why would deer **** intervene We have **** on our pitch every week So much of it we now take it around the country
They showed pictures of it on the results programme, some poor sod with a shovel going round the goalmouth filling a bucket with jobbies, they must have some pretty big deer up there...
If I remember correctly I think I saw a qpr groundsman shovelling horseshit into the millwall loons after the police horse's had been on the pitch
That’s interesting, I rather like him, what’s your problem with him? Would have much preferred a Wolves win, got a couple of good mates who have suffered with them over the years. Never been too fussed about Watford.
I forget where it was, but there was an occasion last season where he was sent to the stand by the referee and wound up rowing with stewards and fans. He might be perfectly pleasant, but I just took against him after that incident.
Fair enough. I like his post match interviews, full of enthusiasm and a bit of humour. But to be a manager with a bit of charisma you have to be successful, otherwise you just come across as a deluded twat.
These new handball 'guidelines' are bollocks. The one for United at PSG wasn't a penalty and the one against Rose tonight wasn't either.
Stortford are my local club - a sad recent history with relegation from the Conference South after a period of serious money worries......hopefully not a portent of our own near term future Nice little ground though - away supporters swop ends at half time!
No footballing people think either was a penalty. Under the current guidelines, both were. The ex-pros in the studio are arguing that it shouldn't have been given by VAR. That's plain wrong, as the VAR officials were just applying the rules as they stand.
I believe the law still says that handball has to be deliberate, which this plainly wasn't. I don't dispute that it was handball according to the guidelines, but as I said, the guidelines are bollocks.
