to be honest, an unknown manager to most on here might just be the person we need. I may have to do some research
There doesn't appear to be anything exceptional in his record, relegated with Bastia in 2017 and joined Troyes after their relegation at the end of last season. They're currently 5th in Ligue 2. Knowing our luck we'll get a turkey wherever he's from...
I will put my head above the parapet….what about Keith Hill. Two promotions with Rochdale - a side without much money. He has a better pedigree than Sherwood.....
Rui who? Almeida then joined relegation candidates SC Bastia in the Ligue 1 in 2017, and couldn't stop them from going down to the Ligue 2. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rui_Almeida Sounds like the right candidate, he can come here and not stop us from going down to league 1 Mind you if it was a choice between Rui or Tim then 100% Rui for me
Kenny Jacket - although why he’d give up a well supported team clearly on the up and a recent cup win at Wembley is beyond me.... Ainsworth / warburton.....
I would do the job for two hundred grand and some return air tickets I don't have a dodgy knee Although the dodgy big belly has slowed me down Don't know any agents to buy crap players from And I am not a mate of lets Ferdinand We would have weekly poll's to decide the team Dt could do some scouting abroad Utrs and steely would be in charge of the half time music Dave in Paris could do the programmes How hard can it be
Why the **** are we without a manager AGAIN?! What the **** is wrong with the dick heads in charge at this club. This is a ****ing joke. Warnock even came back to us and we wouldn't take him on permanently. What a bunch of ****ing clowns.
I was dead wrong about McClaren but so were many others before the new year. What the hell hapenned after that?
I know Sherwood acted like a bit of a dick head on the touchline, but what is it about him that everyone seems to detest so much? I've seen people on here and on Facebook say that they'd stop going if he is appointed. Can someone give me some actual, concrete reasons why they don't want him without just slagging him off?
I might be wrong Col but didn’t he turn us down before ? Says it all if true as, in my opinion, makes him too much of a ‘big billy bollox’
Ive been wondering the same. He comes across as an arrogant dick head but is that enough for the level of hatred.
It's well documented he seemed to play us when he was a 'cert' to be appointed, presumably trying to play on our desperation at the time. Since then he's not exactly enhanced his reputation with his time at Swindon as D o F being particularly bizarre. I personally think there are a few lower league managers who would be far better if we are looking at FFP restrictions. Danny Cowley has been mentioned although the way things are going we may be playing Lincoln next season anyway. Joey Barton and Clint Hill are doing well at Fleetwood, whoever it is needs to be someone who will have the character to lead by example, we're totally spineless at present...
Talks about himself in the third person See Steels’ earlier post including texts from his mate at QPR on Sherwood’s true style with kids Old boys bollocks with Ferdinand and Ramsey, who are increasingly a part of our problem it seems to me Record at Villa - 11 game winless run, including six straight defeats before he was sacked Hasn’t worked as a manager since October 2015, nobody else wants him Swindon relegated to League Two under his watch as DoF Quotes: “I don’t read books. I read the Daily Express and The Star.” We never would have guessed. “I’m never going to take a step back. I’m just going to shoot from the hip. That’s what I’m like. I’m a manager, not a babysitter.” “If you have a supply teacher who comes into your school, sometimes they’re not treated with the respect that a headmaster is.” On Spurs players not showing him enough respect. He’s a massive bellend, the tragic combination of thick and unaware of it.
