Given that you've just come up, a season of consolidation might not be the worst thing in the world. A decent manager and some nice signings could see you promoted next season, you've obviously got more funding than most in the league. Hopefully your new manager will keep an eye on the City retained list. There'll also be pickings from Ferriby's squad on free transfers, for what they're worth.
Hope you enjoy the Lancaster City game today Fs. Trust Lia is well - give her a hug from me. !n 1960 my husband's first job was in Lancaster staying there for over 2 years. While playing for his works team he was approached by Lancaster City to trial with them but instead elected to trial for Vale of Lune (Rugby Union) and ended up playing for them.
2nd home game of the season I have missed. :-( Scarborough under temp manager played football on the ground and were unlucky not to have been 3-0 up at half time though they did score in the 45th min Chances for both teams in an even second half ..game looked to be heading to a 1-0 win until Lancaster got a 90th min penalty Once again Scarborough blew a lead but this time they at least got a draw Tommy Taylor Scarborough's Goalkeeper was man of the match one again I reckon he will be at a league club next season My game review is going by what I heard on Yorkshire coast radio extra Attendance 964 About 60 from Lancaster -------------- North Ferriby going out of business has hit Scarborough as all points won against ferriby have been deducted from clubs. Scarborough lost 6 points.....Buxton lost 3 points Play offs not going to happen imo this season Next season with a new manager The new donkey field stand And tweaks to the team play offs will be more possible ( maybe )
Beautiful dog Filey. What would we do without our four-legged friends.!! Take care and good luck to you and Scarborough next season. Lets hope its a Promotion year.
LIA on the day she was rescued in Brasov Romania ...deep snow and minus 35 Lia is my first dog ever. (4 legged dog ) (I have 3 cats as well) She rescued me really as I never went out most days Got my Noddy Scooter and Lia takes me out once or twice most days. As for Footy I don't mind what the score is though I always want Scarborough and Hull City to win Just getting to games is brilliant x I am hoping to go to Middlesbrough v Hull City in April with my Niece . All the best EVERY one
First game under our new manager John Deacy Never heard of him but he took Bradford Park AVE up and Farsley Celtic up a couple of times and Scarborough supporters say he is a good manager in non league circles THINK he took Farsley Celtic to National League or National League North level Seems Scarborough played a good attacking game today away to Bamber Bridge....Only 3 points off the play offs but we have to play Warrington away next and we have South Shields away on Easter Monday I don't think they will go up but Scarborough fans have a bit of hope still I thought they would lose today the way they have been playing lately so the manager has made a good start Both Hull City and Scarborough have a chance of the play offs....if only a small chance
Aye, but in life those odds are better than no odds, eh Files. Love your positively. My Missus has got an appointment at Newcastle RVI under the two week referral rule on Monday. We've got everything crossed and we're praying to Gods we may or may not believe in. I find your story inspirational, mate.
