I’ve come to the conclusion that as much as I like him and don’t get me wrong he’s by far a world beater, he actually has very little in the way of a footballing brain!
The game changed instantly in their favour on the counter and unfortunately yedlin made a clumsy challenge, but I think if we had simply changed nothing we'd have been ok. People calling for shelvey probably don't even realise it, but he's simply not good enough in very important areas especially without possession .
Yedlin is a really, really poor defender and should be kept as far away as possible from defending. Hasn't got a brain, doesn't look what's around him and constantly dives in usually giving away a foul or gets booked. Please move him on. Ki was doing ok so don't know why he was being taken off but the signs were out in the first half when we couldn't hit a cows a.se with a banjo. Said to my son an ½ time we were going to get beat.

What a bunch of dirty cheating soft ****s they are. Zaha was even moaning at the fourth official at one point the soft ****e. I understand now why he has the reputation he has now. ****e fans too. They must have shared the same taxi.
I think he will let his contract run down and play a bit of brinkmanship. His position will be stronger out of contract.
It's really quite simple he can get a better job at a club that wants to win trophies. I will be delighted for him.

He did get all the bug calls right and didn't miss many fouls from either side. It's easy to blame officials but today I honestly think he did a good job ,especially when you consider how bad some have been in our games this season.
By the way, how ****ing good was Almiron? There cannot be a blade of grass on that pitch that he hasn't ran across this afternoon. MOTM for me.
Cut above. Makes the likes of Ritchie, Perez, Yedlin look even worse than they even are. Officials did ok for me. We could’ve played til Xmas and not scored, particularly with our pretend wing backs making the crosses. We will just about survive but it’s still very much a championship squad. Lejeune out means we’re yet another PL player down and a Championship player will be playing each week. Once Rafa goes it’ll be interesting to see what happens. This group of players, if left to their own devices, will plummet. They need a lot of help to get results.
Probably shouldn’t have at all. Too contradictory to our tactic. Feels like a club drifting into change. Doesn’t feel like Rafa is here long haul.
