O9 delivers in the clutch. Brilliant run by Honeyman to make himself available to receive the cutback from O9.

Almost makes up for the three Sunderland attacks he [Honeyman] singlehandedly snuffed out in the 10 minutes leading up to the goal.

Twice, Oviedo, whose skill level is conspicuosly above this level, tried to work a give and go with Honeyman, both times honeyman required more than one touch to control the ball and had to settle for a backwards pass.

Same thing happened when Wyke took the ball out of the air, out wide, say 25 yards from our goal, he laid it off to honeyman, the counter was on, but honeyman took so long to bring the ball under his spell that 3 defenders converged, snuffing out a promising attack.

Good performance considering we had Catts, Grant & McGeady out of the starting 11.

I think I've only predicted them to win once this season. So I'll keep going for my draws in case I put the hex on them.

75521 at Wembley today for the semi final.
City couldn't sell their allocation, they should feel ashamed.
    Checkatrade rules OK.

A trip to wembley doesn't mean as much to them. Too easy for top Premier league teams to get there. Semi finals shouldn't be played there. Tottenham playing there totally devalued it as well.

All in all a great day on many fronts. Pleased for Charlie...the lad has been given sh*t but there maybe signs of an upturn in him. He can be a big player for us till the end of the season. Always loved a big guy up front but the game has changed over the years...with false nines etc....whatever the f*ck one of them is replacing this type of the player. We have started to put an immense amount of pressure on Barnsley and Luton. The big prize we are after is therefore the taking if we can keep it all together. Should be nothing but madness at all the games we have left. Finally a word for Honeyman....I criticized last week for not stepping up to take a penalty as he is our leader.....however, cometh the man, cometh the hour today with him....well done lad!!!

Just got off a plane and found out the result. Buzzing.

That for me is second place all day long.

For Barnsley to lose and us to grind out a win is awesome. I doubt we will be promoted as champions although there will be no more than 3 Pts in it. I do think that automatic promotion should be welll within our capabilities now.

Honeyman has his detractors, and he also has limits skill wise as a footballer but what he does have in a big heart boundless energy and he never gives up.
What I've loved from today's game, thanks to RTB was being able to watch his reaction to scoring the late winner, sheer delight and pleasure, running half the length of the pitch to be in front of the fans who he'd run through a brick wall for.
If you could bottle that you'd be a millionaire.
To think of the arseholes who have played for us over the past few seasons then to pick fault at this kid because he misplaced a pass or didn't take a penalty is churlish to say the least.
If we'd had 11 George Honeymans for the past two seasons we wouldn't be anywhere near League 1.
