My favourite live album is... Thin LIzzy, Live and dangerous. Too many favourite albums to pick one. I do like to play the Bends by Radiohead very loud whilst driving through the beautiful Scottish countryside though. Voted the most beautiful country in the world to visit by the way. Jist saying like.
Agreed, that is about the best live album there is. It was heavily edited apparently, the best from several shows and some of it re-mastered with additional effects and instrumentation. Still amazing though.
Been some great live albums released over the past 12 months or so: Midnight Oil - Armistice Day; Live At The Domain, Sydney Little Steven - Soulfire Live Niedeckens BAP - Live & Deutlich Alice Cooper - A Paranormal Evening Rolling Stones - Voodoo Lounge Uncut
Back in black, The Kinks are the village green preservation society, London calling and All Mod Cons are quality discs
Wee Brian Robertson lead guitar with Thin Lizzy was in my band before I joined it, for about a month. Never met him.
BUT IT STILL COUNTS AS AN ALBUM ! Otherwise it would be the first album for me. I like Rattlesnakes by my close personal friend Lloyd Cole.
