Valid point made but how would the club do this? Seems to be logistically impossible. The reality is that aside from season ticket holders, the rest of us are fair weather friends in one way or another. I live in the US, so how many games can I expect to go to each season? The guys in Ireland, a little easier and cheaper fro them but still not on to be there often. Similar for the guys in Norway but more cost and travel needed. The local lad who mostly works Saturday so can only get to a few games. The newly married man who has other, higher priority financial commitments now, so he will only go to a few. Yet, here we are on cusp of promotion and everyone, except me (?) wants to be at the last home game of the season! Perhaps, we can get Wembley now that Spuds have moved out, for the game? Or perhaps Old Toilet in Salford is not being used that day? Any other creative thoughts? Need to think outside Elland Road, me thinks!
It did, & Mrs WJ was very grateful. Would prefer if I showed some interest & put my book down, no doubt!
That renowned young tee-total gentleman I. Shako Esq. came up with the goods for me, for which I am extremely grateful. I shall be personally helping him gently down from the wagon on the day.
Was reading in FB that they're only available 'cos they're in the family stand & adults can't buy them. Parents won't buy them as they're all single seats, so can't sit beside their kids.
I honestly have no idea. Just repeating what the FBers were saying. Used to be a non-kids area in L31, but even that is supposed to be open to kids now, hence they keep trying to throw me out for swearing.
