Back in the shipyards in the 70's there were lads that did, shaken and stirred in a flask with boiling water, they even took the ritual to the German shipyards when things ****ed up work wise in the late 70's in the UK. I preferred coffee in my flask but there was a big marmite fan club back then..
I cook too .. believe me, marmite was mixed with hot water as a drink in the NE shipyards as was original bisto gravy powder..
Not really because it's not suitable for drinking as it's too salty although as Joe says some did but its predominantly a spread.
I know about bisto for sure, working lads having a hot drink. The Aussies have veggiemite, which is even worse than marmite..Probably why all Yanks and Aussies are raving homos.
Bit of a bold statement that like ..wtf is it with homos and you? Is there a closet door going to get opened soon or what?
I like the Yanks. People mistake them for being brash and over the top, but I like their 'can do' attitude. I think a lot of Brits find them too much, because we're generally a bit reserved and apologetic. Whereas the Yanks will speak their mind and have a bit more of a 'go get it' attitude. I know a few Aussies as well, those boys are basically feral
I know loads of both, basically i can get on with the Yanks, but the Aussies, well let's put it this way, i've never had a fight with a Yank.
Suggest you read mine, especially where I mention Joe Ps. 1 bottle of San Mig light that was in the fridge.
