According to Wikipedia ginger people can be classed as a race as it's a phenotypic trait. Though so is being female so technically sexism is just a form of racism? Although it also suggests there is no real clear definition of what 'race' even means anymore so god knows what I'm talking about.
Anyone think perhaps we're getting a little sidetracked by terminology and semantics? If racism isn't the consensus opinion, how about prejudice and bigotry? Abuse through prejudice of all kinds is equally wrong. Some is more severe in terms of its numbers and its history. Black people, ethnic minorities, jews and women being a few examples off the top of my head.
