In the 1st at Aintree my eye keeps getting drawn to Three Musketeers 1st time out for Elliot off a mark of 132. If Elliot gets any sort of improvement him 132 is a very exploitable mark, at around 18/1 I think it's a good each way shout
A lot of support for Tedham in this opener. However, I'm drawn to Esprit du Large, so fingers crossed. I also wonder if Push The Tempo could sneak in to a place at a big price ? The rest of the card has got me scratching my baldy head, to be honest, so nothing else for now. Best of luck to all taking part
5.15 Aintree- Santa Rossa- 3/1 My nap of the day Dermot Mcloughlin is a trainer that I don’t know much about but seems to be very smart and won’t be long till he gets big big owners in his yard, this horse imo is a potential star, was entered for the champion bumper but the owner didn’t wanna go, likely with aintree in mind, she is currently 2/2 in her races one of which was a G2 mares at leapordstown in which she did look a little green but really took well to the task towards the end and would have learnt a lot, what she beat is hard to say that day but visually looked good! Interesting she side stepped the mares bumper yday for this one that looks the easier race and I have been waiting for her to run!!
all about TOP OF THE GAME for me today - the one new horse that really impressed me at Cheltenham. after Kemboy put in Gold Cup claims yesterday I am expecting the Nicholls horse to do likewise today. first race looks a bit of a minefield, but I will be siding with another Nicholls horse BRIO CONTI. and to complete a Nicholls treble go for POLITOLOGUE in the Melling Chase, who I think is in the form to beat the lightly raced Waiting Patiently. The 2.20 looks a Ruby job, the 4.40 looks between Champ and Dallas des Pictons. The Topham is anyone's!
13:45 Aintree - Mont Des Avaloirs e/w (Paul Nicholls' French-bred has a squeak in the first. Form is decent and 2m4f might well suit. 11/1 with PP at the moment.)
hi fellas! aintree,2 20: well, the big question, again,is,how will ARAMON handle these conditions,as it looks even softer than at cheltenham, but if he does, has a major chance,as hes shown more than enough ability throughout the season,to warrant a place in this line-up.
Good afternoon peeps My avoiders at Aintree are: 2-20 Rouge Vif a decent ew chance I reckon, and being punted. 2-50 Topofthegame is surely home and hosed already? 3-25 Waiting Patiently should hammer these on his best form 4-05 Took two ew's here ... SBC's current dreamboat, Kilcrea Vale and there is something compelling about Peregrine Run that can't be ignored. 4-40 I like Walk Away, another at a good ew price. Good luck all
Bit of a throw back for the bould Gordon there, back in the day he was known was sneaking a well treated one into a handicap
at least,he ran much better today.. aintree,2 50: i like the look of LOSTINTRANSLATION here.tries a new trip, but that doesnt worry me too much.has had an excellent season so far,and may be the main threat to topofthegame in this.as a confirmed frontrunner,he ll be very much suited by this track, and the JLT form was backed up by the good run of the then third mengli khan yesterday.so,he looks primed for a big run here..
wow, this fella has some engine! great effort. aintree,3 25: old rivals POLITOLOGUE and min face off again here, and i hope, the former holds sway today,as he has got some good form at this course, including winning this last year,so a big run expected..
Well done those of you amongst the winners today. Just time to watch the Melling Chase before heading home. Very good renewal and hopefully Waiting Patiently can do the business.
