The figure tops the £106m profit posted by Premier League rivals Liverpool earlier this year. Yearly financial results for 2017-18 reveal Spurs' income climbed from £310m to £380m thanks to player sales, bigger crowds at Wembley Stadium and reaching the Champions League knockout stages. The figures were released as the club opened a new £1bn stadium - though much of that cost has been met with loans. So if they have money why not improve the team? Spurs could have a better squad and be further up the table. Yes they haven't done badly but if they had brought in one top player last Summer it could make all the difference. I don't see the sense in posting a massive profit without investing in the team it'll be a lot different next year if they drop out off the CL places this season and again that top player can sometimes make the difference.
Said it many times. Had Levy invested more in the squad over the past 4-5 years there would be a good chance they would have won a title - look how close they were when Leicester won it. At least regularly challenging rather than fighting for 4th. I've also said if they're not careful this crop of players will pass on - as will the manager. A massive missed opportunity in recent years. Levy has chosen a stadium over success which tell you all about the man and his ambitions for tottenham = turnover and profit.
They won't get record profits if they end up in the Eŭropa league next season as a result of not signing anyone.

Pool paid the highest fees to agents last year with 44 mill Chelsea were 2nd with 27 mill in bribes I'm afraid we don't have that kind of money to bribe agents in order to turn the players head. So we fall at the first hurdle it seems
