As Saint said, fans generally have an alliance so you don't expect that to change too quickly. But where are the glory fans?
At Old Trafford and Anfield you'll set the obvious tourist; half & half scarf or short, camera in hand, more interested in the occasion than the football on show. They don't make for great supporters but it's a bun on seat. Where are they when it comes to Man City games? Why are their attendance figures almost full capacity? Something dodgy there if you ask me.
Man City have done everything they can to be as boring a journey as possible for fans and neutrals They just spend their way out of every problem, and not even on interesting players or from outside the PL; Mahrez, Walker, Stones, Sterling... Where's their Andy Robertson out of nowhere? Even Mané and Salah were surprises Plus everyone knows they constantly cheat FFP rules
Last time I listen to Jesus. Hopefully Mohammed will get in touch with me before the next City game. He's more trustworthy.
That's actually not bad... It meant he performed equally well as the first place team during his stint.
You have to be a season ticket holder etc etc due to the requirements for "trips" like the away games at cups. Grants if its the quarter final and you can set a ticket at a fiver and get kids in... but the AWAY game requires a different standard for crowd control. Its the same for europe. So this is an FA cup semi final. city get an allocation but they don't throw them to general sale. they have to go tio "real fans" So the FA are the relevatn authority here and they don't want just anyone coming along and causing trouble The tickets sold to the semi final are imo more indicative of city's fan base As i said a home premier league game... theres tickets on sale in asia and middle east etc to fill that ****hole up.
I thought the rewards thing was only in place to cover high demand and to make it as fair as possible? Is it a FA initiative then?
I recall seeing it. Arsenal were big culprits too. They are physically empty but accounted for in the book, whether it be season ticket holders not turning up or done dodgy ****.
it's safety. you have to sell your tickets to known fans not to just anyone. could you imagine cheslea selling tickets on general sale and a load if millwall ****s buying them and having a riot at an away Venue posing as chavs. UEFA do the same. city struggle to sell for cl and cups. but... the other point that most city fans are now kids and from site at or where ever is equally valid. Imo city have a small core support of real fans who I don't begrudge success to having following the team for years of delegations etc but they have a huge amount of glory fans. but I'm getting to the point of saying even the core city fans don't deserve the level of success oil money is brining and will bring over decade.
Daniel Levy says Tottenham will become one of biggest clubs in the world Opening ceremony of Spurs' new stadium will be shown on Sky Sports Premier League and Main Event, and Sky Sports' digital platforms https://www.skysports.com/football/...will-become-one-of-biggest-clubs-in-the-world
And he pockets the 113mil profit that they spent none of on players, lose eriksen after finishing 5th.... yeah biggest something
I bet their fans hate that last minute goal to win the title, the cups, the league titles.... Robertson, meh..... Cheap players like Allison and VVD, Fabinho, Keita are making a mockery of the way city recruit.
