His in-game management has been very good, he often tweaks the formation and makes a big difference to the way games are going (for the better).

Not my fault that people post things thinking they're clever without realising how idiotic they're being.

I'm just pointing out the errors of their ways; not all superheroes wear capes mate ;)

Dropping lukaku helped too, maybe his reintroduction is why you've wobbled a bit lately?

Nah, Luckys been ok under Ole, Matic legs are gone this late in the season and Martial and Rashford have been playing half fit. Lingard has been a big miss too recently but looked to be getting back to full fitness yesterday.

Lukaku as been better but that's because OGS got him on the slimfast! Still not good enough imo, doesn't suit the style you're trying to play now either.

Doesn't suit the style but is a good change of plan.
To be fair to him, he said himself long before Jose left that he had hit the weights too much and was carrying too much muscle weight. He seems to be back down now and his reactions and speed have improved.

utd dropped half their side for the Barca game.... simple as.

Utd best 11 is obvious.. their issue is they've not way to bring in players to keep the style going til they sell.

lukaku is only ever plan b or c.

Man City have struggled to sell their quota of FA Cup semi-final tickets. They've sent 2,000 back and still have a further 3,000 unsold.

Half the seats were empty at last night's game too.

Why are they struggling to attract fans?

Like a spoilt kid when parents are rich and have all the best toys.

    Kid gets bored quickly.

    It'll take time, surely?
Genuine fans develop an allegiance early in life and stick with it. City have always had a nucleus of dedicated fans but that will only increase significantly with sustained success. Presumably the majority of fans in their catchment area have prior allegiances and aren't going to change that.
If they stay at the top they'll attract more, younger fans - but as a relative newcomer to the big stage the only overnight fans they'll attract will be glory-hunting plastics.
Also significant can be the cost of watching football these days - how many can afford to fork out to follow a team with whom they have no real affinity?

Agreed, but glory hunting fans usually turn up when a team is winning. Although not the cheap still, I don't think it's the most expensive there.

Also, why don't the club do schemes to get punters through the doors? Free tickets to school kids. Just get then through the door. May as well have someone attending for free than have a empty seat.

Or are the owners buying 10,000 season tickets? <whistle>

Whatever they give as the official number won't be accurate anyway.

    cos they are plastic.

the reality is they are a small club with a lot of money buying success but even now they are still not "big" in manchester. If it wasn't for out of towners coming in each week to league it'd be half empty and this is reflected in lack of demand for cup tickets

maybe continue like it for 20 years and they'd be everyones club in manchester i dunno
