Sissoko MOTM once again. He's a phenom.

Probably would've scored as well but Kane tried to nick the ball off him.

Excellent game overall. Rose and Davies look back to their best, Winks back from injury, Hugo with a couple of decent stops at the end, Dele looks sharp, Vertonghen is quite simply my favourite footballer on earth. We are home.

Meanwhile over at the Etihad 10,000 fans didn't bother turning up. Although that doesn't make much of a difference; they are made of the same material as the empty seats they left behind.

    Great performance <cheers>
Sissoko, Davies and Sonny superb. Rose was very good, full of enthusiasm and drive.
Toby & Jan had their easiest night in ages.
Dele and Jan were good and Eriksen kept busy and grabbed a poachers goal.
Hugo..... Not too sure but a good late save.
    Trippier played as well..... <laugh>
Thought both Winksy and Lucas did well as subs.

The result was everything and the lads delivered. Great start to a new era.

Bad news for Huddersfield: Harry Kane's going to be extra motivated and I don't think their most famous supporter injecting himself with lobster DNA will help them...

Played some superb passes and generally worked hard but tbh looked far to desperate too score in our first game here.

Extra shooting practice for Sissoko in training but I fear it won't do much good.

I feel someone needs to practice to help our forwards a bit more.

its always been the case though...if we took all our chances we would always walk the league...we are quite wasteful upfront as a collective

    always room for improvement

That was special. The two test events were brilliant but today it had that magical “home” feeling about it.

Thoroughly deserved the win. Thought Sissoko and Davies were excellent and that was Eriksen’s best game in a while, finally looked interested.

This south stand can really generate some noise!

Loved it when Poch came all the way over to celebrate with us as well. F6F71895-4E10-4301-AAB5-502959377F13.jpeg
    Welcome home, Spurs!

We ****ing won a game! <diva> It was all over when the fat bloke sang.
I'll be thinking more sensibly tomorrow, but my abiding memory right now was the chaos for the 2nd goal.
Had no idea what the ref had given for quite a while! <laugh>

Never seen such a delay to the celebrations like that, and even then half the crowd were still like “wait, did we just score?!”.
