I’ve learnt not to slate Eriksen. He’s not been his best recently, and has a dip in form every season, but he often scores crucial goals and provides assists out of nothing to prove the doubters wrong. He’s always been like it. And his record of goals and assists for us speaks for itself.
I think that’s fair all things told. He’s probably got more of it this season because of the general dissatisfaction around the club, and because of his contractual situation.
I'd forgotten what it felt like to play at Home Well done...we did ourselves justice Let's get our heads down and get CL...the Stadium deserves it COYS!
Full time, that could scarcely have gone better. Best full 90 mins we've played for yonks. Very few disappointing performances tonight. Clean sheet too, much needed. More importantly, the win breaks an awful run. And most importantly, we're home, and we've opened our account in style. I cannot wait to be there in the flesh in a week and a half. COYS!!
2-0 is what I said before the match and so it was albeit a touch fortunate for the first goal but we are back where we should be and that's third. Now, City only won 2-0 against Cardiff, not great. its seems to me that they're losing some momentum and if we can hit our stride we might just take them.
Sissoko was Bossing it tonight...immense power in that man Son was back to his cheeky self Lloris best game in a while but that's because the ball went nowhere near him. Rose was menacing although a bit careless in his attacking role Nervous first half...but Poch's magic boot did the trick COYS!
First match, first WIN in NEW STADIUM, TRIFFIC! WELL DONE LADS> Climb up on my knee SONny boy(for older posters ) & nice one ERIC
