Britons beware, you won't be able to take your favourite foods on holiday with you if it's a no-deal Brexit

British tourists will be banned from taking their beloved UK delicacies such as cornish pasties, pork pies and even cheddar cheese on holiday to the EU after a no deal-Brexit, Brussels warned today.
Holidaymakers who like to take their home comforts with them will be forced to smuggle the food past customs officials, if Britain crashes out on April 12. British expats in the EU also face being denied much-hankered-after care packages from home.
The ban is also likely to deal a blow to shops such as Marks and Spencer and Fortnum and Masons, which do a roaring trade in traditional British fare at St Pancras train station, where the Eurostar travels from.
“You will have to pick and choose what you...

Agree. Now imagine a Tory going over to Ireland to lecture them on the need to ignore their own democratic referendum on independence!

Along with 311 others. And to think if your chosen one had not been stupid two and a half years ago you would have had a majority.

    Day of compromise for everyone
Maybe the day that in 2019 it still is a fact that at least half the country wants to stay in the EU

I believe it’s more than half but of course that means nothing until everyone gets to vote

With a united Ireland now on the horizon and certainly Scotland heading for independence what can any PM do? We would be left with England and Wales and only then certainly a surrounded country outside the EU I respect that the Anglo Saxon would still believe we can do it alone but I would bet business would never agree plus the divide would be very intense

We may need to split the north and south ... we effectively are split anyway

The best it now looks is a very soft Brexit if at all
Anger will die off slowly imo as we are all just self obsessed anyway

I know he's not a Tory but Farage has been over here plenty of times trying to influence how we vote prior to and post various European referendums. Bojo was also over recently and collected 56,000 euros for half an hour's presentation at a conference on Brexit. In Farage's case, he is also trying to encourage the Irish people to follow in the footsteps of Brexit. Thankfully, people over here laugh at him rather than take what he has to say seriously. Politicians visiting other countries works both ways Goldy.

Yes, but do they come on and lecture you on national TV, Fing? We have that repeatedly from McGuinness in collaboration with the Remain BBC. I think the EU know that if they send Tusk or Junckers, the Brits will tell them to sling their hook. Irish politicians have a closer connection to the UK obviously, but for most Leavers, it still grates when they're told they voted the wrong way in the referendum!
