Apparently told England he had a dodgy hamstring, then played in the cup game v Wolves, and then said to England he wasn’t fit enough to join the squad. As you say, really daft. Southgate’s problem, especially in the attacking positions, is who to leave out, not how to fill the team sheet.
Yep. It's entirely possible that Rashford won't go straight back in, although he was genuinely injured.
Just put the TV on to see Scum score two late goals, the first well offside to nick it at Cardiff. Warnock having a duckfit. They really do get away with it...
Scandalous first goal for Chelsea and Rudiger should have been sent off, but I thought Warnock took it quite well.
Pawson should be relegated from officiating Premier league games after that performance. 4 shocking decisions and guess what - all in favour of the big club. Still I wouldn't put it beyond Warnock to use it to motivate his team to escape the drop. Of the 7 games left 3 are against galactico sides but 4 are against teams in the bottom quartile of the Premier League. Win all 4 and they will have 40 points. I wouldn't be surprised though if the powers in the FA don't try to silence him by bringing a disrepute charge against him for what he said to the MOTM reporter.
It would be typical of FA to drop Pawson after the game...and then charge NW...however the facts are there for everyone to see and if they then charged NW surely they would be made to look completely incompetent.
And with losses of £50m + from their promotion season they could be starting on minus points next season.....what giggles
Can I just say that I loathe the minute’s applause? Football is a trade performed in front of a disproportionate (to other industries) number of senseless oafs. If they can’t observe 1-2 minutes of silence out of respect for whoever then why the **** bother? Is anybody actually contemplating in respectful reflection the life of the recently departed whilst they repeatedly bash their palms together mindlessly listening out for the referee’s whistle?
