I'll merge this into the other thread later, but I thought it warranted its own for now...

In June 2018 the FSF was invited by Hull City to discuss the club’s membership scheme, which replaced the traditional season ticket model.

In addition to this issue the subject of the club’s fractious relationship with our affiliate Hull City Supporters’ Trust (HCST) was also covered, as we attempted to help rebuild relations between the club and its fans.

While we received a friendly welcome from vice chairman Ehab Allam it was clear that the club was not willing to change its ticketing policy.

On Monday it was brought to our attention that the club’s Supporters’ Committee minutesreferenced this meeting and ascribed views to the FSF to which we do not subscribe. Despite requests to remove or alter these references the club has refused to do so.

In June’s meeting with the club we made clear that we would not endorse the club’s approach to concessions.

We believe a club’s ticketing policy should be set in consultation with its supporters and that should include a supporters’ trust where one exists. In addition we feel concessionary prices must be respected in order to make football as affordable and accessible as possible.

We will always be available to work with clubs and supporters to improve all aspects of matchdays for home and away fans and we remain open to further dialogue with Hull City.

Ehab Allam. A man who would choose a lie ahead of the truth.

I refuse to believe a man of the people like Ehab Allam would ever lie, it just doesn't seem to be in his nature.

**** them. I despise the club I support. The day they leave will be the greatest moment in the club's history.

What views, and what's the club's reason for not amending/correcting the minutes?

other than of course the FSF are dealing with Ehab! What recourse if any does the FSF have?

Ehab's made up claim, that the FSF agreed with him that the current concession based system used at other clubs, was failing.

Amending the minutes would be an admission that Ehab had made it up.

The FSF can't take any direct action against the club, but they do have a significant voice at the FA and the Football League.

I'd love to know what Stickle has been saying on twitter but unfortunately she blocked me, which is funny because I've never directly spoken to her on twitter or any social media.

It does say Allam Out in my twitter bio, that might be what did it.

I thought about this bit of the minutes when I first read them.

"EA adds that upon discussions with the Football Supporters Federation (FSF), the FSF said that the Club had a compelling argument with their current system and that there was no data to suggest that the national system was better than the Club’s current system.
EA adds that the FSF acknowledge that the current nationwide system is failing other than at the likes of Manchester United and other similar clubs, but generally in football, the current national system is failing"

Slander is verbal, Libel is written.

    Either way, it is defamation.

The ticketing scheme was and is ludicrously over-complicated.

With the ground barely a third full, and large swathes of it empty, you would have to be unusually stubborn and blinkered to not reconsider the whole system.

I am an attender and am compelled to pay by DD (never my choice) , and use the systems in place.

Every turnstile needs manning to help people swipe in- so no savings there.

Some turnstiles have queues of 20 or 30 yards, while others a few yards away have no queues whatsoever.

It would be laughably ****, if I dint have to use it every fortnight.

Like Gategate, it's been dreamt up by folk with either too much time on their hands, too much money to spend or no ****ing clue (or a combo of all 3).

I wonder how many more years we will have to put up with this third rate management of the stadium before someone with experience, drive and vision gets in charge of it again and rolls back the petty 'innovations' and 'improvements; and gets back to simple common sense basics?

I was talking to a mate of mine who is connected with city. he said if you think the current ticket situation is a joke and farce, wait until you see next seasons version. I have no further detail.

From the minutes of the supporters meeting.

"EA feels that the current system is not one that the Club can look to use well into the future, but thinks the current model is better than the national model"

"EA also reveals that there will be a price reduction for memberships in the highest priced zone and states that the Club does take feedback onboard and is prepared to listen to suggestions to what could be a sustainable alternative and has a chance of working, other than the current nationwide failing model"

I'm not sure why he thinks that all other clubs use a national / nationwide model. All the other clubs have concessions but they do it how they want not to any standard policy.
