Anybody keen on Morgan to stay if we go up? I like him but he's on the small side. New manager at Celtic, and they brought in Tim Weah from PSG on loan in January, maybe Morgan will be available.

I think Morgan looks like a canny footballer. One of our best players in the 1st half on Sunday. Reckon he would be a good buy if he was available (depending on price of course)

I like having Hume back. Better getting forward than James.
Grigg needs to be rested imo, no need to risk him

I fecking well hope not :emoticon-0145-shake

He's had one good/decent game as far as I've seen, he's got no heart or noticable pace, and not much skill . . . . pretty average in the third division, never mind the second :emoticon-0101-sadsm

We've got enough little lads in midfield with the Honeymonster and Goochy coochy coo, who are both more lively than him, so we don't need a player of his ability :emoticon-0108-speec

For me he doesn't offer anything we don't already have in Watmore and Gooch, I'd take him as back up if the price is really right but I've said before a loanee shouldn't be playing ahead of one of our own ie Gooch.

I dreamt last night that it was 2-2. They equalised deep into injury time

Hes done well in most games he's played. Did great on Sunday. If Wyke could score, he'd be on 4 assists in 9 games (only half of which he started i think ).

He's similar to watmore, but different type of player to Gooch and honeyman. He has bags of potential for a player who main experience is with St Mirren in the Scottish 2nd division

He's a young lad, Dan, so he's possibly got potential but I haven't seen it, especially not on sunday :emoticon-0145-shake

Prove me wrong, son (he's bound to read this) :emoticon-0105-wink:

    @Gordon Armstrong

1st half thought he was one of our best players. Several shots, forcing their GK to make a couple of good saves, getting the ball into the centre, skipping round their defence....
I'd have put him up there with McGeady.

    2nd half different story

Just goes to show how people can watch the same thing and make different observations

Any news about the AS pitch... it was supposed to be poor at the weekend... so after a couple of days rain/sleet is it going to be playable... we cannot have another postponement

At the Wham Stadium make sure you bevvy up at the Club Tropicana bar. Apparently drinks are free, or so I've been told (may just be a careless whisper).

"Wake me up before you go" as long as it does not piss down the match will be ok. Sunderland will play like Real madrid in the first half then South shields in the second but we will win i have 1-2 and 0-2 bets on. And for a tenner on SAFC to watch.

I thought it was pretty clear how good he was against Portsmouth, even my wife who wasn't paying full attention was asking me about him because he was so eye catching.

Second half he was quiet but so was every other attacking player for us thanks to Portsmouth improving so much.

I'd take him on a permanent he looks a useful player to me.

I like Morgan too, but he seems to fade quickly, thought him and Watmore were made for a great double act sharing 90 minutes game permitting, as both can turn a game in a short bursts, then along comes Mr Bean, still rankles does that. Personally I think Morgan looks promising but we already have Molyneux, Kimpioka and even Elliot Embleton who all should be considered equally imo.
