I can’t say too much , I didn’t expect anything from the game either. I’m delighted to have been wrong, now onto Boro to hopefully prove me wrong again.
Wow, after Wigan on Saturday, we then have West Brom at home then the dreaded Villa away.....doesn't get any easier does it?
All games are tough this time in the season, on a positive they will be feeling the pressure too, besides we always play better against teams that come at us.
probably because we want to play proper football and parking the bus means that we have no space to operate in … providing the attackers defence stays very aware and do not get drawn for a breakaway such games end 0-0 so a point guaranteed … with a crowded defence it is also more like a foul will result in a free kick and possibly a goal !
I fancied and bet City to win both recent away games, nevertheless I take my hat off to LJ. Personal feelings of him aside he's proving what we all knew - his footballing nous. When you compare him to other managers he's articulate, intelligent and on a another level to most. BJA and 1For knew it from day 1. The tide always turns down Weston but I honestly believe, with further investment, it will be a long while turning. Good luck to him and BCFC.
it is now getting tighter than ever and I reckon the 2 POINTS DROPPED v Wigan are the points that STOP US FROM BEING in the top 6 at close of play... The Johnsons this season are showing just how good [well above average ] they are as managers whilst Lee is likely to miss the boat by the odd couple of points Gary needs just 5 and goal difference [WOKING need to make up 20 goals ] to win the league from 4 games …… GJ next game home to team in bottom 5 and Woking away to team in 4th …… LEE HAS WBA and VILLA THIS WEEK …… NEED 2 PTS MINIMUM
Yes it's 2 dropped points, but we gained 6 from the 2 previous games, so that's 7 out of 9....can't really moan about that...What ever happens from now till the end of the campaign, it's still been a good season, especially with the key players that we sold..don't know about you, but my glass is half full!!!
SL wanted progress this season from 11th last year not made easy by selling the family jewels. LJ and entire coaching/medical staff deserve great credit. I think City will reach the play offs confirmed when Derby visit Ashton Gate.
only half ! mine has just had the top off most off the season ………. In the next week - ish will re publish the predictions those brave supporters made at season start
