If that plays out....Masky will hold three tankards if the finest pale ale, along his magnificent todger...and not spill a drop!
Amazingly it finishes 2-0 after a first half battering! No real cutting edge to Man City after the two goals, both of which were sloppy mistakes...the second was defo a “sloppy seconds” thing! We will do well to suffer a 2-0 defeat in front of the camera’s on Wednesday!
clingo - not sure where that "rested" bit came from, but looking at that Wolves team, it doesn't look as though they've rested many. Maybe Jimenez would have started up top and Doherty at FB, but the rest of them look like the first choice 11 to me. Maybe their thoughts are on next week's trip to Wembley for their FA Cup semi. Let's hope not though and they go for the win today - we surley need Burnley to drop some points today, hopefully all of them.
That's what I get for listening to the BBC. Let's hope that the incentive of making the team for Wembley will inspire a comeback.
Remaining Fixtures: Cardiff v Chelsea 0 points Man City v Cardiff 0 points Burnley v Cardiff. 3 points Brighton v Cardiff. 3 points Fulham v Cardiff. 3 points Cardiff v Liverpool 0 points Cardiff v Crystal Palace 3 points Man Utd v Cardiff. 0 points 4 clear cut games, where to get no points is entirely likely 4 games, (3 away) where 3 points are possible = 40 points...it can be done!
Huddersfield down in record time....thought that might have been Derby! Big wins for for Southampton and Burnley. Brighton as Sparkey says the target now!
If today's results prove anything, it's that survival will be down to us - we can't rely on other teams losing. With Brighton losing at home to Southampton, we have an opportunity. We've done the double over the Saints and we've already beaten Brighton at home - time to make it two south coast doubles. Burnley still well in play given their upcomong fixtures and we've got 2 games in hand on them and still to play them. A result against Chelsea tomorrow would throw it wide open again. Even if we lose as most expect, it'll still be in our hands.
