It is ridiculous that we entrust the future of our country to the hands of some of the most unqualified and unproven. They are supported by career civil servants whose own field of knowledge is limited and their pace of work and decision-making virtually stationary.
    Madness!

No, their "electoral college" system "decided" that.
Immensely prescient of their nation forefathers to devise it too.

As with so much wrong with America, because something worked in the late 18th century that automatically means that it's just as workable in the early 21st century

Just a reminder that France has updated its constitution sixteen times since 1776 (and had a seventeenth ready to be ratified, but the bloke who wrote it was sent to the guillotine before he could sign it)

I have been increasingly reminded in recent weeks, as we approach a possible fourth vote on the PM's version of Brexit,
of this classic sketch from the immortal review "Beyond the Fringe". Can't think why!

So because Trump has the hump because of his non wall,he wants to shut the border, which will stop the fruit and vegetables getting to the Americans plates....which they desperately need...….and his next screw up?
    Meanwhile in the Conservative asylum...……….

And the grass and cocaine, that will make him very unpopular in the Senate and House of Representatives. They might actually give him his funding to get the border open again. Perhaps he is not as stupid as well all think.

And in the Asylum, the ERG are contemplating supporting any vote of no confidence in the government Corbyn may table if Theresa May doesn't go for a no deal on the 12th. You couldn't make it up, turkeys voting for Christmas.

Anna Soubry said it was a tragedy that Nick Boles amendment proposal lost by 21 votes last night, but he would be welcome to join The Independent Group Ltd

Anna Soubry neglected to tell the cameras that she and every single one of her mates voted against Boles' proposal, which is a funny way of welcoming somebody to their not-a-political-party...

On the subject of Nick Boles, I'd suggest this is the point where Brandon Lewis might want to start taking a more serious interest in local parties and their deselection process...

Citizen May can just go and F**K OFF !!!

Time to leave under WTO trade terms, and get on with it.

And to call a spade a spade, hardly any of these so-called
Brexiteers or Remainers are of any real consequence.
No ability to make the UK progress or prosper in any
material way whatsoever, whatever outcome is decided.

They are in Douglas Adams world the occupants of the "B Ark" . Get rid.

Agreed. Oliver Letwin and Yvette Cooper need to be demolished to make way for an interstellar bypass.
