Apologies for repeating it, but Ings can't play against his own team as he is a loanee. Damn....beaten to it.
A bit harsh - He looked pretty good against Brighton. Oh, you mean he can't play against the reserves
Gunn Valery - Bednarek- Yoshida - Bertrand Romeu - Hoijberg Lemina - Ward-Prowse Redmond - Armstrong Liverpool have dangerous full backs and therefore playing narrow will probably invite that threat, but they’re a strong team who can get us in a variety of ways. We can’t defend too well when sitting back, so will need high pressure from the midfield, with Romeu sitting Incase they find a way through.
Now that could be interesting.........especially as he won’t even be on the bench...... More likely Liverpool increase his value and ask us to pay more......at the end of the season........
As per several previous posts, Ings is still officially a Liverpool player, so he can't play for us against them. This does not preclude the Liverpool scouting system from checking our list of players, viewing previous matches when Ings played for us, and telling their board that they should put in a large bid for him. Can you tap up your own player?
The price is fixed....we wanted him, but presumably wanted to delay payment. Never had this kind of deal before....suggests we were short of readies.
