Well there’s a surprise, MPs can’t muster a majority on anything. And so it drags on.

We’ll get this little game over with one day, with at least half of the country, possibly more, pissed off with the outcome, then we’ll have a general election.

If Johnson gets into the last two of the Tory MPs run off (and even though many of them hate and distrust him, he might because they think he might save their jobs) the blue rinse and gammon brigade will make him their leader.

Then we will have a right wing populist Tory party versus a left wing populist Labour Party. I reckon the English will vote for the right wing populist.

Ken Clarke's CU option defeated by 3 after SNP abstained. Surely they would vote in favour on Wednesday if other 'soft' options are dropped.

The ****ing TIG MPs voted against both Ken Clarke and the Common Market 2.0 options, along with a bunch of Lib Dems. I don’t think they understand how indicative voting works.

Stupidity of the worst kind. The government had gifted it to the Commons by refusing pretty much to participate. All they had to do was tap one effort into an empty net and yet different groups chose to vote against or abstain on options certain parties did not like. Another day completely wasted and whenever TM tries again Bercow will correctly rule it out.
Whichever way those responsible try to spin it, it has been another unforgivable shambles and an act of sheer political cynicism by Theresa May and all other political leaders. Looks like there may be a rush to stockpile baked beans..

For the first time ever the UK might see the end of May before the end of April

We must remember next time,or the sake of political correctness, to include a No Deal option and Theresa May's deal for a 4th time. Bugger realism. Let's all live in cloud cuckoo land.

ISIS Bride Shamima Begum has weighed in on Brexit in today’s Times:

““Brexit: it goes on and on without end,” she said, with a brief laugh. “It’s so boring now that I ask the sisters to flick on to the cartoon channel just to get away from it.””

An interesting suggestion by a radio caller this morning. Hold another referendum with two options - Leave with no deal, or Remain. If either option gets 60% approval, it is enacted, but if neither gets 60% May's Withdrawal Agreement is approved and the Political Declaration is amended to reflect the majority vote - Leave majority equals hard Brexit, Remain majority equals soft Brexit. Seems quite sensible to me.

Haven’t we already voted to leave?

Anybody understand May’s latest announcement? Anybody care anymore?
