Anyway, whatever, we all need a beer or two so lets all get pissed and insult each other later and maybe a bit of bare knuckle to follow..
There's surely a complete breakdown of a working relationship between Gyan and manager (and maybe others). There weren't many places left to go with closed transfer windows, but he had to get out. I know Gyan is not all innocent in this, but he was clearly pig sick. I can't blame him for that. I'm not sure we even have the players in the squad to get us out of this mess now, even if they were well managed.
Disagree that Catts was our best player, Jeff Whitley springs to mind when i see him play. Brown by a country mile kept us in the game 1st half.
Colback was poor today and Larsson was not much better. When on earth is Bruce going to give Vaughan a shot. OK, so Blackpool went down in the end, but who created all of those goals for Charlie Adam to grab the headlines with? Vaughan should have started today for me. And why put Bendtner out wide when we brought him in as a striker to put pressure on Gyan. Bendtner was far more convincing upfront, getting on the end of a couple of decent crosses - something that we have lacked for many a season. I said on Transfer Dday that Gyan would go and I'm glad he has in a way, but please use Bendtner in the area that he is most effective. Agree Bruce has a handful of games to turn it around but please don't bang on about Martin O'Neil everytime. Boyhood Sunderland fan but it doesn't make him the right man. Mark Hughes.
Gyan was a greedy money grabbing tosser like Bent Bruce is right when he says why would anyone leave the best league in the world to play in the U.A.E apart from money. i did'nt even know they had a league.
When you were all lauding Larsson before we signed him, I was the lonely voice saying he was distinctly average, very slow and one-dimentional. You will slaughter me, but I think Sess is also very overated, and also looks unhappy. I think SB may be out of a job come Monday - though I still think he should be given the 3 games mentioned in the thread. If we don'y play well against Stoke and lose, the scenes inside the SOL will not be pretty for SB. Having said that, we have to stick together and support the players that are on the pitch next week - HAWAY THE LADS. Bart PS - with Stoke's trip into europe, I do predict a win for SAFC next week.
Agree a lot there bart especially with Sess, good stuff marra but we need a **** off to someone, please oblige and if its me then I'm heading to Arbroath tonight
Haha, just see bart with a rollie sat in the town square telling everyone to **** off.. The lads a legend and been around a long time, buy him a beer anytime..
