Boro are plummeting, down to 8th now and face Bristol City midweek, then a trip to Swansea. Fans have turned on Pulis, surely he's next in line for the sack? The talent they've got, they can't play Pulisball if it isn't getting results. Got to be a line of thinking that you bin him now and see if the new man can inspire something, or at least build for next season? At the bottom, Ipswich now 13 points from safety, and Lambert has started questioning whether he'll still be there next season.
Huddersfield have been Relegated before Ipswich. That's so embarrassing. I can't believe Ipswich aren't officially relegated yet. Those strange draws must have made them cling on.
Lambert appears to be offering to fall on his sword at the end of the season - unless it's a ploy to get Evans onside for a longer contract. But with the following track record, why the hell would he? https://www.eadt.co.uk/sport/ipswich-town-boss-paul-lambert-bbc-suffolk-interview-1-5968957
Our next two games are at home against QPR and Reading. By coincidence, Leeds and the Blades are both away to Preston and Brum. Things could look even better after that. Cue JMF to produce one of his great spreadsheets showing the remaining fixtures.
Just waiting for the website I use to be updated - should be done tomorrow PM. Edit - Latest promotion odds Norwich 1/66 Leeds 1/3 Sheffield Utd 2/3 West Brom 11/4 Aston Villa 5/1 Bristol City 10/1 Derby County 14/1 Nottingham Forest 40/1
By special request - The $54,000 question is - after which game will promotion be guaranteed - NOT the title!!!
Interesting to see Villa, Reading and Hull putting a bit of a run together and of course Reading visit CR a week on Wednesday!! I hope we have guaranteed promotion, this month, as I don't fancy having to get a win at Villa Park!!! Edit - over the last 25 games we have scored in every one, have amassed 57 points (2.28 pnits per game average ), have scored 59 goals and conceded 31. Thankfully, we are now conceding fewer goals (and scoring fewer!!)
https://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city...-on-premier-league-transfer-rumours-1-5971712 The young Norwich City centre back has been touted with the Champions League hopefuls and Arsenal in recent weeks after a breakthrough season at Carrow Road. Godfrey is dismissing those reports as he focuses on the job of sealing Championship promotion, after grabbing his chance for a starring role. “It’s nice when people are talking about you and you see your name linked with big clubs, but you can’t do anything about it,” he said. “We are a young team who are doing well in the Championship, so that will always attract people to games, but I can’t think about that. “I’m a Norwich City player and I’m 100pc focused on achieving what we want to do here. #TerrificNews
https://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/canaries-daniel-farke-on-premier-league-planning-1-5971673 Daniel Farke is working on two Norwich City plans but is desperate to rip up the Championship version, as the Canaries close in on the Premier League. Farke and sporting director Stuart Webber have plotted an improbable promotion push, with City five points clear of the chasing pack. Norwich’s head coach was preaching caution again after beating Middlesbrough 1-0, while reiterating there is a top flight strategy ready to go.
