Sissoko in nosebleed territory hurts, but the overall
schoolboy play when chances were there is the killer.

I think we'll be ok for the season but we have to play 90 minutes and not just 45, it's happened frequently this year. 2-1 isn't the thrashing I expected.

2-1 FT. Liverpool were **** in the second half, but we didn't take our chances and Lloris fluffed his lines.
We're in real trouble now and we need a big performance on Wednesday, when we'll almost certainly be out of the top four.

Ref bottled the extra time as you might expect. Didn't add on nearly enough time for the substitution or the head injury. Also was Salah offside for the goal?

I didn’t expect to get anything from this, so I can’t say I’m surprised, even though we deserved something.

We simply have to win the rest of our remaining games, and hope to get something from the City game. It’s now so tight in the battle for top 4. How did it ever come to this? 10 defeats this season already. Jesus Christ.

Difficult to get anything with just 10 men and few sub options

That disguises the weaknesses and crass errors. We made our own bad luck after getting back into the game as they tensed up.
We threw it away - or rather Hugo did - literally.

We've thrown that away and as over the course of the whole season, we'll have nobody to blame but ourselves for not getting top 4, if that eventually happens.

Frustratingly, there were probably more positives to take from that game than any other we've had recently. If we can replicate the urgency, the energy, the quality of some of our approach play, in the rest of the season, we'll probably secure top 4 and cause City a lot of issues. We 100% deserved at least a point there.

I expect the players to be absolutely gunning for Palace midweek, we need to win and take momentum forward.

We had some big chances and ****ed them up. It’s our own fault today. You just can’t waste them against a side like Liverpool.

We played some lovely stuff at times and messed up 3 good chances at 1-1.
    A real pity...

Don't agree we outplayed them in the second half, that the runaway should fall to Sissoko and then Rose is bad luck for us. We could so easily have won the game. That's how close we are to winning this league. I am already looking forward to next season.

Sissoko has had two like that this season, and both ended in row Z. :(
I would have him doing hours in training, manufacturing that
exact scenario and getting him used to what is needed.

PSG are looking for a keeper, apparently. He's homegrown and everything. Couple of hundred million sounds fair...
