Now I always thought he was touched with a bit of megalomania, "Megalomania is a psycho-pathological condition characterized by delusional fantasies of wealth, power, or omnipotence. 'Megalomania is characterized by an inflated sense of self-esteem and overestimation by persons of their powers and beliefs'. Obviously mumsy has told him he is special etc etc but with him being away at Uni and away from mum he is lost, "in addition to its pathological forms, megalomania is a mental behavior that can be used by any individual as a way of coping with distress linked to frustration, abandonment, loss, or disappearance of the object". So if you look he posts so much more on a Friday and Saturday night, surely the time any young man should be out, " bird dogging chicks and banging beaver" to quote my favourite film. Is his vitriol on here linked to the fact no one at Uni knows who or how great he is and so he lacks any confidence to talk to anyone let alone the opposite sex. Just a thought.
Student nights are often on Wednesdays thought, aren't they? Just sayin..... I think that TWF is a pretty normal bloke just having a laugh, playing his stubborn forum character He wasn't like that at Footymad, from what I can remember....
Lol, I don't know why I'm biting, but a few things to clear up. A. I'm not at uni for a year, I'm working in Leeds. B. If you look back at my posts you'll find this is the first weekend I haven't been out in ages. C. Your mum knows I'm not a virgin.
Basically I don't give a s**t. We all know fools exist so why harp on about this one? The only person who will love this thread is him.
None of this is important. It's an internet forum. You only have my posts to confirm that I am who I purport to be. We all make nonsense judgements about people we don't really know. Although I'm looking forward to actually meeting someof the posters on here at some away matches. The easiest one must be the Brighton game since Febbos should be eay to spot!
Student nights are Thursdays. I should know, I almost died at approximately 5am Friday morning But honestly, who gives a ****? Even if he was, so what? There's off topic and then there's pathetic.
I did for the last two years, and I will again next year, but this year I'm living in Leeds on an industrial placement.
I've only been in Leeds for two months, but Sheffield at the moment. That could be down to the fact I only had to do about 10 hours of uni a week and spent the rest of the time drinking though.
sounds like my time at Derby Uni in the 90s.. back then my A-level results were so bad I couldn't get into most educational establishments in the UK but Derby College of HE (as it was called in my first year - later upgraded to Poly then Uni) took me..
Industrial placements are always a good idea when combined into a degree. I've always been surprised why more places don't advertise them as the fundamental requirement many graduates lack is work experience. In addition to this, a lot of employers will keep the interns after their studies. I've had a lad work for me from the university of sheffield and he speaks very highly of the place. Work hard and you may be offered something in the end!
