Shame for Catts being the one to miss after having a good game, have to say I didn't fancy him for it. Where the **** was Wyke, I never trust a forward who won't take a penalty. Anyway I think the best team on the day won and credit to our lads for staying in it right to the end. I'm gutted but not devastatingly so.
I stand by what I said up thread, in the first half Sunderland was a different class and fully deserving of their lead, but the roles were almost reversed in the second half and Pompey were the dominant side. Honestly, it's the most enjoyable game of football I've watched in a long time and either side would have been worthy winners today.

They switched off AGAIN like at Oxford and Scunthorpe is it a mental thing why start playing when we are losing they keep doing that?, what the frig does Jack do about it ? we are not the same team this year for some reason and Pompey will do us 2 more times before the season is out. Where is the players who can change a game ? taking a £4m striker off a mistake and not playing Sterling, Mumba, Sterling etc. I bet they will never play the same in 2 halfs of a match this season, they cannot kill a game off and now this crap wembley record goes on, although that was not Man c or Liverpool we were playing today.
