    Think I'll pass.
No bloody wonder the Black and Whites find this amusing. They know what a bad chairman is.
    I bloody despair.

    Ours is class, aint he?

Never left a stone unturned to replace Bent.

Gave his all recently in the media.

    Really supported his manager.

Whilst Quinnain't beyond reproach, he sure ain't to blame either.

He doesn't decide the wage cap or budget, that's Ellis department.

Ellis out? Not in a million years.

    OK SYD

Brian Kidd would be manager - not chairman, So sorry you must have misread that.

Chairman? Well, not really a football position is it? More a business man. I have bit my tongue about the happy-clappy Quinn-lovers for too long. What, exactly, can he contribute business wise? I would LOVE - LOVE the opportunity to meet the likes of Short on a golf course or at a race meet. Unfortunately I work for a living,

Does anyone down there know how to run a football club?, we are going backwards, if Bent and Jones are not replaced in January this club is finished, chairmen have chance after chance over 50 years or so and cannot do a simple thing like get the right manager and players in. Mancini was available 2 years ago and now look where Man c are, Ancolotti would be a great manager but they will not bring him here.

Kept my gob shut so far Bobby, but have to say I disagree about Quinn.
Yes he has made mistakes, who hasn't?
With the Bruce situation he is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't get rid.
All the major ins and outs at the club must be based on the managers recommendations?
IMHO it is now time for Bruce to be sacked.
Bruce is clearly out of his depth at this level of football.
Quinn on the other hand is a great ambassador and figurehead for SAFC.

    As for Brian Kidd!
No way on this earth should he be allowed near the SOL.

Not being funny but what planet are you on bobby. Yes he knows nothing about business but that's why Ellis Short is there. Niall Quinn is a useful guy to have their as he understands football unlike many business people, that was a main problem for Bobby Murray and many other chairman at other clubs.

I'm not saying you did Bobby marra.

Your saying that the contracts are down to Quinn, hence he is culpable to blame for players leaving, but i said ELLIS controls the pursestrings, Quinn is a mere public figurehead.

Say what you want and yes I may be wrong bout Kidd - but he couldn't do much worse, could he?

Quinn loves SAFC. Great. But so do I. Can I have his job please? He may have played football but I am a local lad - surely that balances out? Plus I have been at SAFC games since 1970 - not 1990.

Just sit and think. Please. What has he brought to the table? An untried manager who got us out of a division by spending big monet. Same manager kept us up by spending bigger money, then lefy. Quinn didn't have a replacement so Sbragia luckily kept us up. The next move to world domination? Steve Bruce.

    So proud.

Anyone on here think we'll be better than 10th this season?

How do I give this -5 stars? If it wasn't for Quinn we'd be in league 1 he saved the club and brought the drumaville consortium to the club who ploughed in unprecedented funds into the club, then when the Irish economy went under and they could no longer bank roll the clun quinny then went and sold the vision for safc to an American billionaire. Asking for Quinn out is moronic. Asking for Bruce out? okay I could entertain the argument. Quinn and Short have backed Bruce, this is Bruce's team. If it performs on the pitch he gets the plaudits if it fails the blame lies at his feet and his feet alone. I will only be critical of Quinn and Short if they fail to act with regard to Bruce before it is too late, if that may be the case.
