Anyone else not bothered by the Mané gossip? Think a lot of it is just the Spanish press doing the usual and no idea if Mané actually has any desire to play there. Obviously dont want him to go and We hold all the cards and if he does want to go then we would require an astronomical fee and I'm sure Klopp would use it wisely.
Why would he even want to go? They're finished as a top club. A complete joke. It would be like signing for Chelsea.
not in the slightest. first off he's not on their a list, nor b list. second he's contracted so he will cost a bomb and finally third the source of mouth this week is Southampton player who we play on Friday night.
Once the Ox comes back Shaq will drop further down the pecking order and will probably push for a move in the Summer. As to Mane to RM, great if he wants to go let him for at least £150m or cash and some decent player in part ex, never want to keep a player who does not want to play for the club. Not that Mane has said anything about wanting to leave, but if hr does want out then get the best deal for him.
In the end, it comes down to the player. Does Mane want to play for one if the big two in Spain? Only he can answer that and the only way we find out is if he goes.
Liverpool would make a big statement by signing Marco Asensio https://www.footballtransfertavern....ake-a-big-statement-by-signing-marco-asensio/
What a pile of sh*t. Lazy journalism is rife.....i think football jornalists invented fake news or writing spurious stories - it’s everywhere now. Liverpool would make a big statement by signing Messi. Liverpool would make a big statement by signing Isco Liverpool would make a big statement by signing (enter name)
I think every fan of every top club probably gets the same out of that site. constant repeating of old stuff to get click bait. so really.. yes just like deigo
Not convinced we're going to go and buy a top player to rotate in the forwards as a foursome in the summer...Werner is semi-realistic because of his contract expiring in 2020 - maybe we could cut a deal similar to Keita - but he still wouldn't be cheap. I think it's more likely we'll go for some lower club gamble option, either PL based or abroad, or a younger player who wouldn't mind being rotated. Supposedly we've scouted Bruno Fernandes a few times this season who's more of an attacking midfielder as we won't be back in for Fekir and Shaqiri hasn't really nailed down a spot. Maybe Brewster will get a chance to impress pre-season Regarding Origi, as much as he is the only option we have right now, that's not a reason to keep him. He's painfully average and braindead.
If Bayern come calling, Werner goes there. Much depends on their next coach. The young Chelsea lad is a realistic option imo...any young player should be attracted at the prospect of playing for Klopp. A bit much but he’s already an England international now so perhaps even out of our reach!!
Bruno Fernandes looks like the real deal. Hard to judge as he’s in the Portuguese league but his numbers are ridiculous.
you are right about buying a top player. but we may buy someone we think can be one with the chance you are also right on Origi. while buying is a risk we know origi isn't good enough
I think that's the most likely. No ready made stars for us for a while, but someone Klopp can mould. I think fans might be carried away after the big money buys of Keita, Allison and VVD but there's no way that'll continue. Imagine we could pull another 25 year old Suarez out of thin air for next season though, we'd decimate teams. I like the look of him, but always hope they can reproduce it with the step up in level. We've watched him a few times at least so there's interest there.

Nabil Fekir has admitted that he is unsure about his Lyon future, nearly a year on from a proposed move to Liverpool falling through. The France international was on the brink of joining the Reds last summer, only for the Premier League side to pull the plug on a deal at the last moment. Liverpool were reportedly concerned by issues flagged during the player's medical and felt that it was too much of a risk to spend £53m. Fekir is keen to move on from the botched transfer, but the 25-year-old has refused to verbally commit his future to Lyon. "Liverpool? It's part of a player's career, but it makes you stronger and you have to move forward," he told Telefoot. "I really don't know what I will do [in the summer] but as I said I feel good in Lyon, the president trusts me, that's good. You will see [if I extend my contract]."
