No not that, it needs to be something substantial.

Easier said than done when it's semen instead of blu-tack.

Long way to go, but it feels and sounds like the good times are back.

Oh, and our good luck has reappeared at last from where it's been hiding. :)

Chelsea need to win otherwise they will find themselves falling further behind. However, I feel that Cardiff are a team who are unpredictable and there is something about Warnock's style of development teams that they tend to get underneath the opposition's skin. I think that Cardiff could cause an upset this afternoon as Chelsea are the out of the top 4 because they simply do not merit that kind of position. Under Sarri, they have underachieved and I don't think it should be taken for granted that they will come away with the three points.

The relegation battle this season has only been of interest because of Southampton's involvement. Both Huddersfield and Fulham have been abject and destined for relegation. The third place is less easy to call because Cardiff, Burnley and Saints are all likely to put in a good performance as much as a duff one. Brighton are perhaps the most wobbly of Burnley, Cardiff and Saints and seem to be relying on the points picked up earlier in the season. I think Burnley have a resilience about them and Saints seem to be picking up points even when we have luck on our side. Getting results at home has also helped whereas there have been moments when this has looked unlikely and seemed like added and unwanted pressure. If Cardiff lose today, I think they will be cut adrift but even if they draw, I think it is too early to write them off. Luckily they are running out of games and if we keep a two win margin in front of them, we will be safe by close of April. I stick with my prediction of Saints being three points clear at the end of the season. I agree with an earlier comment on here that we have rode our luck and would add that I think that Ralph appears to be taking us in the right direction. I still feel we should be better able to judge Ralph when he has assembled his own squad in the summer and not occupied with dealing with the poor hand he was dealt when he took over from Hughes. Some of the wins have had a strong element of good fortune whereas I think we have shot ourselves in the foot a few times since Christmas such as in the Burnley and Cardiff matches when we should have come away with more. I am anticipating a far more stable season in 2019/20 where we are more the masters of our own destiny. Thankfully the errors seem to have been ironed out and we are picking up points at the right time. Our survival is now totally within our own hands and not reliant on other reasons. We have a belief which I feel will hold us in good stead for the conclusion of the season.

One thing no one seems to have mentioned here is that I would have to say that the moral aspect around Cardiff's dealing with the fee for the unfortunate Sala means that they have lost all sympathy for me. Regardless that the team I support is involved in the fight, I hope Cardiff go down because of this,

I actually agree with all of that.

This year we are in control of going down, last year we were fortunate that Swansea imploded just at the right time.

Just watched the highlights - almost every chance we had JWP was free to square the ball to at the back post - hope Ralph spots this and points it out to the others!

Now 66/1 - it seems a done deal now as far as the bookies are concerned.
