I'll tell you how good Oliver was today. I've just come from a Brighton forum and not one complaint in a thread title asking to rate him. That is impressive. Don't actually think I've seen that before.
I wonder if we might go without a striker on Friday..... we played the last half hour or so against Spurs with a 'front 3' of Redmond, Sims and Armstrong
Saints v The Scousers, Friday night, live on TV?..... good memories, let's hope for the same result...
Two years after this one. Probably in his interest to take a 50% paycut if it comes down to it, though; these are really important years for his development, and he desperately needs a club that is committed to him. Might get minutes on loan, but a loan club doesn't have any real overriding need to play him.
If we retain everyone and bring in a few improvements while retaining the manager that would be a great summer!
We are getting some luck aren’t we. Brighton hit the bar, more contact and it’s a pen, defence letting Duffy have free-reign to almost poke in that free kick at the end (love Yoshi’s hands in the air as if there was no danger). Up the saints we deserve it.
We are. Last two games we have had more luck than in the previous ten. Woodwork hit three times, when not long ago they were flying in against us. It had to turn though, never known a team be so unlucky, but you make your own don't you.
He’s the best we have..... if I was Tom, I’d be changing the poster on my wall from Clattenburg to Oliver
