Going up as Champions would be nice, but I'll take second in a heartbeat. Fair play to Norwich, to be honest. I thought they were pretty hopeless when we smashed them at the start of the season, but they have been the consistent side in the league. Fully deserve to go up.
You don't get 'lucky' for 39 games. Norwich and us have been the best teams this season, they have been more clinical in front of goal so that is why they are top. If we had a finisher, I'm not kidding we would be up by now.
True, but we and you are the two best teams in the championship. Try and be a bit more optimistic about your club!
Good day and result today, and I here Kev (Eire) got all emotional as he hasn't watched us win a league game in about 5 years
I absolutely fell apart chesh. One of the best days of my Leeds days thanks to Jammy and steve. Point is I go to tihe bother of getting to know these guetlemen as people rather than forum whatever's. 8 had possibly My best ever expiE4nced
Thank god I haven't got a dodgy ticker although seven games like that could induce the condition  mistakes all over the park, poor passing, dreadful crossing, missed chances & in disarray at the back, some of our play was reminiscence of seasons gone by where we needed three to win. One thing Bielsa's team has is bottle with a never give up attitude as was the case today when all looked lost. Tremendous comeback orchestrated by a player who could still grace the premiership imo ! Positives Pablo - the little man was immense yet again, still capable of playing in the premiership. Ayling - a goal & a assist, back to his best. Roberts - showed some silky skills with a assist for Pablo's winner. We never give up, showed resilience when all looked lost. The noise as ER erupted when our 3rd goal hit the back of the net, kop was manic! Three points. 2nd in the championship. Blunts had not conceded a goal since Boxing Day but are knocked for three today, hopefully that defeat has rocked their confidence. The relief & smiling faces at the final whistle Negatives Too many poor/average performances. Bamford - a stinker from our £7m striker. A game littered with mistakes. Gifting two goals & all over the place at the back Ratings 7 Peacock-Farrell 8 Ayling 5 Cooper 5 Jansson 5 Alioski 7 Phillips 6 Klich 8 Roberts 7 Harrison 10 Hernandez MOTM 2 Bamford Subs 6 Douglas 4 Clarke 6 Forshaw
Largely agree with you, but a couple of exceptions: 1. Even if Forshaw was absolutely average, a 6 for 15 minutes average work? Nope. And it wasn't average. He was DM, but as ever, thought he was an AM. Now it coud be that he was instructed to play in this manner, but given that he's always played in this manner as DM, I don't think so. Seriously exposed our defence with his undisciplined wanderings imo. Delighted he's back, but please, God, not as a DM. 2. Douglas once again destroyed our left wing as an attacking force. Sure, there were occasions & glimpses, but even in an under-siege first half, Alioski & Harrison combined to make things happen. A lot. Douglas didn't.And he effectively killed off Harrison. Again. Can't work a wing with others, can't defend, & can't cross. And this from a man who was described as the best LB in the division. Aye right! Somewhere after my Granny in the list, I think!
