In terms of mileage, yes but a 2.5 hour flight from say, Spain is shorter than the drive from Newcastle to the Wirral.
It's not just the flight though, you've still got to travel to and from the airport plus there is the time spent in the airport too
I see Harry Kane picked up a MBE for "services to football" today.... ... Eriksen actually won it but Kane claimed it
Makes you think why have another PL club not come in for him? Apart from Everton, United and Chelsea he would happily take a job with any of the others no doubt. Has he refused or never been considered?
newcastle isn't close to his family in Liverpool house. He's a ****ing saint to put up with ashley. TBH in some future dream.... I want rafa as our technical director but only when he REALLY doesn't want to coach and interfere with the manager.
It is good news, OGS won't pull up any trees with MU. All we need now is for them to finish 5th or 6th
So then, on the Beeb site, Hilarious Gomes thinks that Alisson is a better keeper than Ederson atm, but that the latter has the potential to overtake. Anyone have an opinion on this? Personally I think Ederson edges it anyway. Not that I'm unhappy with our keeper in any way, but I've often wondered why he is the Brazilian first choice. I think he's a more dominant personality, and that could be what keeps him ahead of the seemingly quieter guy.

Dont think there is anything between them. Does allison distribute ball better or quicker? Reina suited our style when we played similar as was good with feet as well as hands. Maybe thats why.
Yeah, very difficult to judge if one is better than the other. Just two very good keepers at the two best teams in England.
Ederson is a bit of a looser cannon. Alisson is a tough cookie who is unflappable. Better in air and more reliable. thats simply it.
