I'm not saying Jozy Altidore was any good , he clearly wasn't , but we've had worse Premier League players than him
Yeah, he's in there because he has an extraordinarily poor goalscoring record across two clubs, which makes sense. But he played in our team for a year keeping out players like Ghilas and Folan, so he wasn't even our worst striker that season.
i was looking at his international stats the other day. something like 41 goals for the usa in 110 games. turns out most of them were against real minnows, but there were some against top teams, like germany and spain. he's score heavily for a few clubs, but it's probably like mark hateley scoring loads for rangers. if you've got two legs and can stay on your feet for five minutes - which hatelely managed in a few games - you'd score loads as a rangers forward.
