Everyone is entitled to their opinion... Like I said, that is what makes a forum a good football forum. I just thought everyone calling the lad a WUM straight away was a bit harsh.
Thank you chris, it is just my opinion that he shouldn't have been sold and i am astonished that people thought we played and i quote "very good". What i have seen on this forum is that no one is allowed to critise King Kenny and maybe its because im 17 that i dont know too much about his past, compared to many. Obviously i understand he was one of our great players, and i can see he is a very good manager(which his past also proves) but i am not afraid to say when i believe he got something wrong.
Yeah but I don't understand why you think Meireles would of made a difference? He is known for being weak and Stoke are known for being a big strong physical side - It makes no sense at all.
Meireles was the biggest ****house in our team when it came to tough tackling games and he would have gone missing today had he still been with us.
I think Lucas destroyer and Page have quite successfuly put this thread to bed. Theres nothing more to say on the matter.
Ok skylarker, maybe he wouldn't but what i saw was a lack of creativity in the centre of the pitch for most of the game. Maybe im wrong, he was never the strongest or greatest tackler as you point out, but we definatly needed something different at times in the game
My final point is that It wasnt that much of a tough tackling game, How many yellows were there? ONE and that was for shouting at the assitant
The ref got critised for not getting the card out enough and for letting to many afters go unpunished.
Meireles isn't a creative midfielder in my opinion, infact far from it. Bellamy was introduced to add a spark, and very much did so. We played very well and were just unlucky not to have won. Meireles wouldn't of made any difference in this type of game to be honest.
How do you know that exactly that is a stupid comment to make really unless you have the facts to back this up its just pie in the sky.
Eh? What sky's comment the fact is Stoke won 1-0 if Meireles played no one knows what the result would be if Carroll passed instead of shooting if would have a different outcome on the game etc.
If a blackboard was originally called a whiteboard would it now be called a blackboard? I would like facts with your answer please
