A split pea and ham hock soup is pretty difficult to beat tbf.

 

You like crunchy meat and pasta? Having said that, crispy meat is good though.

Btw pasta in soup - yay or nay?

I do prefer a stew to a soup, just more heartier and a lot more taste and texture.

 

And then we have casserole which is the king!

Chicken Con Carne soup

 

Looks like a bowl of puke.

What did you expect chicken con carne soup to look like? It's chicken in a chili sauce with kidney beans, A Sunday roast perhaps?

 

Have to say, both those look the business

 

I expected it to not look like a bowl of puke.

 

I probably would have done if I'd put in some uncoloured chicken thighs.

 

Should have used some chlorinated chicken
