Remain can't be the home side since remain includes Europe. Away goals are in our favour I'm afraid. Blame UEFA.

The answer is no, it wouldnt be a price worth paying.

But as nothing that bad would even remotely happen, it was a ****ing stupid question to begin with.

As I said, maybe you and all of yours are protected from that happening. Good for you.

    yeah there is that.
Some people will pay a price either way.

I am just shocked at the willingness of some people to hand over the UK as a vassal state to Europe in exchange for some jobs and some cheap cheese.
Such a small price to accept for your countries soul.

Whilst I accept that the figures on this site will have been milked to the max, what would you say to someone who has lost their job because of Brexit? Don't worry mate, it's worth it for our freedom, here's a fiver?

No deal would mean a hello of a lot more job losses. The CBI and TUC didn't produce an unprecedented joint statement just to fill some time.

History is full of people getting shat on in order for progression.

We aren't a vassal state at the minute. We will be soon as the government want to honour the result of the referendum.

Blame who you like mate, this is the Brexit that we were warned we'd end up with.

That will give them a lot of comfort, especially the people who voted Remain and lost their jobs because of the Leave vote. Do you mind if I use your words?

    That I do agree with.
We were warned by some that we would end up with a Soft Brexit that is worse off than EU membership, and if that happens, I can only hold my hands up and say those who stated as such were right.
I guess I overestimated my countries resolve and gumption.

Maybe for you, in your circumstances that might not be irrelevant, but it's definitely be relevant to plenty of others, but you patently couldn't give a **** about them, which is your prerogative obviously.

Why does everyone need to be comforted? And why is it yours, or my, job to comfort them?
Some people lose out and end up in the gutter every day.
No one has a divine right to success.
Its a callous way to look at things maybe, but you cannot make an omelette without breaking a few eggs. And I truly believe that getting out of the EU, would see the UK do better than remaining in or agreeing to a half arsed Brexit.

I don't believe the EU will make it past the next decade either. We have already seen a rise in Far Right and Far Left arseholes as a consequence to this forced coalition and other loopy idealistic policies in Europe and the US.

So it's accepted that no deal would cause a short to medium term economic shock and you think the EU won't make it past the next decade. So why would we want to go through the shock period if it's going to collapse before the shock period has ended?

Rees-Mogg said we'd see the benefits of Brexit in 50 years. Digby Jones said 100 years. That's quite a wait.

We go into economic shock to prepare for a later economic shock. Can't fail.

How can anyone still support this pointless exercise in National naval gazing?

We're now seeing the likes of Mogg & Johnson, who decried this deal as the worst outcome imaginable, their supporters cheered them on, you tell them Mogster, this is BRINO, not real Brexit, we want the full claw hammer in the face Brexit, give us no deal you heroes, rah, rah.

Now they've gone full circle and are promoting this deal as they fear that without taking it, Brexit will likely end up going back to the populous and into the skip. So, they're now advocating taking what they've said is the worst deal imaginable, a deal they've said is worse than staying in, merely to get what? Yet still the same supporters cheer them on, yeah it's this deal that's worse than remaining or no Brexit and we want Brexit, just because........

    Brexit has eaten itself.

Rees-Mogg is a ****ing clown, and has shown himself to be spineless with his U-turn.
All the bullshit bravado he has been spouting for months now, saying May failed the government etc, and now he turns round and is willing to support her deal?!

He has all the principles of a back alley whore. Someone is obviously paying these people off. You dont go from "No Deal! Hard Brexit! A **** deal would be catastrophic and this deal is **** and will make us slaves!" to "Oh well, I guess its okay if the DUP agree to it." in a little under 2 weeks unless some pressure has been applied or some palms have been greased.

Funny that isn't it, 4 years ago when the Brexiteers were pushing for a referendum and people were less clued up, they kept saying "don't treat the British people as stupid". Now, 3 years after the referendum, when everyone knows infinitely more about what Brexit entails, they're saying "the British people are too stupid to be trusted to vote on it". I wonder why they're so afraid? <whistle>
