    I love how the inside of those advertboards say O BRIEN so the sunderland fans have to see that name every home match they go to.

    edit - Actually funnily enough it says O'briens.

    I know it's not nice to gloat... but this is ****ing hilarious. All the pre season talk from them lot about how they were going places and we were going to struggle. <laugh> . Then Ryan Taylor smashes one past them, they sign Bendtner and Gyan can't take it anymore. <laugh> north east's top twats!

    Would rather have Best than Bendtner or Wickham and would like to give Ba another chance as this will be his first game after the fasting.

    Nah no chance, Whickham has been crushed every time he's played. Not at all ready for the Prem yet while Bendtner will just be another Gyan. Best pops up with goals when we really need him to and Ba has just had a dodgy start because he wasnt drinking or eating during the day time for a month. He'll come good soon - just look how he did at a **** West Ham team.

    Jesus christ, everybody should be ****ting themselves for playing Man United this season. 4 goals in 25 minutes if it werent for the offside flag anyway. 3-0 already.

    Man City and Man Utd will be battling for the title imo this season. 3rd/4th will be between Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool and Chelsea.

    Both Manchester teams squads are so strong its scary. Would prefer Man Utd to win it though. At least they are using some English youth.

    I'm bemused by the response my comment got... I'm sure if we had signed Bendtner and Whickham this summer, you'd all be saying that they'd deserve to start over Ba and Best.

    Maybe Best is an exception to my statement, but I'd much rather take Bendtner or Whickham over Ba.

    I wouldn't be saying that. What's wrong with Ba? He's had a bad start but how well can you perform when you aren't drinking water at all?

    Really? I'd definetley rather take Ba than Bendtner. Just because, last season, he showed he was a very good player. Shame he hasnt shown that with us just yet. But, who knows, QPR could take a pasting off him come Monday (its nice to dream).

    Where as with Wickham, im really not sold on him. Think Sunderland have payed over the odds for him, and I can see him being a flop. I didnt really want us to sign him, cos for a striker, his rate for Ipswich wasnt brilliant last season.

    That's just my preference based upon my opinion that Whickham and Bendtner are better players. Your own opinion obviously differs.

    Yeah I know, but don't just fall back on the 'well its my opinion' argument when I'm asking where your opinion comes from. Mine is based on the fact that Ba was scoring like crazy at the end of last season, the sort of scoring form Bendtner has never had. I'm just interested in working out how you came to your conclusion.
