Heh, sadly that's not quite specific enough for me Despite working here for 3 summers (or perhaps because of) I haven't seen much of the island other than the area around where I work. Not many days off in seasonal work!

 

trying to plan our 2013 holiday, going to go for a month, just wondering best time to visit, was looking at mar-apr or sep-oct to avoid the Peak period

 

If you're coming for a month you'd be better off booking a villa early man. I was actually working on one over the winter, which will be available all summer every year from now on, have a look.

England going to a World Cup in NZ in an all-black kit is ridiculous and well out of order.

watching the poms v argies atm, the look bad, wanna be all blacks

 

England must have had lessons from our football team, they were crap. Never seen Wilko miss so many relatively easy kicks. If the Argies hadn't been kicking poorly as well we'd have been in the shyte! The Jocks weren't much better judging by their highlights. The All Blacks were disappointing as well, after scoring so many early points they should've won by 50+. Still, we were crap last time but won the vital games...

 

All set up for Wales to steal the show tomorrow by turning SA over!

 

England didn't deserve the win. Aweful. On the bright side they only way is up (performance wise)

 

All the "underdogs" have started strongly so far!
Scoreline flattered france, and even namibia looked impressive for spells.
Exciting times!

 

nz were scratchy, poms lucky as were the scots, hope we smash italy

 

32-6 after a tight first half but winger out with broken thumb, lucky we have the cover

 

I felt sorry for the Welsh, outplayed the Boks and deserved better, particularly the crap call on the 'scoring' penalty. Priestland will have nightmares forever after that missed drop goal...

 

I thought we deserved the win. Having said that, sloppy turnovers in the last 10 minutes meant we surrendered possession cheaply, and then couldn't get the ball back. We've noone to blame but ourselves sadly, although the pluses are huge. The boys now know they should have beaten the World Champions, and if they don't draw confidence from that then they won't from anything!

So was most of the world, by the looks of it. Unless you were the English ref, of course, who was so sure it was over he didn't feelthe need to refer it to the TMO. I'm not going to blame the ref for losing, but that should've been referred upstairs.

 

yep totally agree, i was ranting over that one, watched it many times and still could not see how it missed

 

i actually liked the black shirt...shame about the numbers...
a brown shirt would probably be better for the football toilet in brazil..

I saw that the England union team have gone for an all-black kit - I thought they'd be more fuss about abandoning the all-white kit, never mind the fact they look like NZ now.
