Great to sterling delivering. Fantastic player who’s finally added goal scoring to his armoury.
The Lad had to put up with so much **** from the nation (a lot of it was racially motivated) but he’s been a model pro.
It’s a shame we ****ed up when he did - he would be perfect in our team.
What's he worth now then? £50m +£1One of the things I said when Sterling left was that he'd never be worth £50M again. That went well.

It’s the press that’s given him a hard time. 99% of England fans have always seen what he can bring.
Shouldnt imagine most gave a **** about his tattoos it was the media that twisted that story. He was constantly booed at pretty every ground and even at England games. It’s only now that people have woken up to the **** he’s endured.
Cheers but not the final pass, but on the through ball to sterling Kane is well ahead of Sterling and clearly offside
Givent that the only time Kane gets back onside is just as the pass from sterling comes across how is that the second phase?
This means you can stand a player in the box, play down either side of him then pass it
I know it had nothingto do with the result just trying to understand at what point that it became second phase?
we had previously won 1 drawn 3 against them [HASHTAG]#progression[/HASHTAG]Miracles of miracles Henderson must have fallen over and thought he was facing the wrong way there as he's just played another forward pass!!
Montenejothefuckareyou? 1 england 5.

you really need to read the offside rule think you may find your example would not be deemed interfering with play by most refs. Its just a very subjective rule at this point but the intent behind this is to make the game flow so we have to accept the "confusion" as a game with 50 stops for offside is no fun either.
For me if a forward is advanced of the line but is not offside then the Defenders MUST position themselves to be able to somehow cover him in the next phase. Thus he is automatically interfering with play.
There is a huge difference with a guy who made a run which was not played to and how is jogging back of stops and is clearly showing he's not going for it and a guy who is running offside and the ball just doesn't happen to be exactly at him but he ends up taking the defenders attention away.
It is after all the forwards job... so he will go do it.
Kane with respect to him for doing it is always looking for an angle. Take his "offside" goal in Fa cup for example. where it was a throw in and he was off. it was also quick thinking by i think rose to throw it to him too.

With regard to Sterling, he has had a lot of racist abuse which is completely unacceptable and he's right to speak out. The fact it's come as he's improved as a player is telling.
That aside, he forced a move when he was starting to improve and in my view should have stayed at least another season. He's just another in a long line of players who show no loyalty for the effort and belief put into developing them. One thing that sticks in my mind about him was his reluctance to step up and take a penalty.

He had the opportunity to join the best team in England, rather than stay and work under Rodgers who is a muppet?
I don’t think you can begrudge of him of choosing that option. A decision which was justified given his development since.
Panto booing at games is comical, Beckham had it for a season after the 98 WC. It's the stick the press give Sterling that is unforgivable. He was booed at Anfield and I would guess he still is, like Rooney, Barkley etc will get/got at Goodison. He was constantly booed at pretty every ground and even at England games. It’s only now that people have woken up to the **** he’s endured.
Can't blame him for making the step up, he did the same to QPR and if you dont take the chance to move to the best backed clubs, will that chance come againHe had the opportunity to join the best team in England, rather than stay and work under Rodgers who is a muppet?
