What I find amazing is that everyone have seen how the EU have tried to shaft us anyway they can and if we give in and stay in the EU they will continue to do so even more and remainers want even more of it. If I was to get another job and work my notice(1 month) my ex employees to be wouldn't insist on me paying them a couple of months wages for having the audacity to leave them, so why do the EU think they can with us?
Because we weren't employees of the EU. We were members of a club. And we signed up to that club and made legal commitments and so we have to honour them. Sign up for a gym and if you leave earlier than the contract then you still have to pay your obligations. Not everyone sees the EU trying to shaft us we see the UK shafting itself by acting like idiots and imposing ridiculous red lines that restrict us getting a good deal.
We were members of a club and all legal commitments are valid whilst in the club, thats what article 50 was all about giving notice to leave the club making all agreements obsolete.
Well of course we could decide to pay nothing and not honour pension contributions etc but don't imagine we'd get a very good trade deal after that with our biggest trading partner
No deal was not on the ballot. They didn't say when they would leave. They are still debating how to leave.
Ok show me on the ballot where it says we will leave with no deal. Or we will leave keeping no deal off the agenda. It doesn't because that's part of how we leave - which is not on the ballot so we the voters have no control over it. Suck it up that's what you voted for.
Leave That's it,leave with an agreement if one can be agreed,if not just leave with no deal. It's easy to understand unless you're a remainer.
The deal is a deal to replace the trade agreements, so I’m not sure what your distinction is. However, the real point is that while you and others may have voted to Leave not worrying about whether we had a deal or not, plenty of Leavers (and quite possibly the majority) voted with a deal in mind though, and you shouldn’t disenfranchise them All the leading Leavers said we would get a deal
Total made up remainer rubbish, you don't know any such thing.Parliament shouldn't have been involved,Government should have done deal and implemented it,with no Parliament input.
Not made up remainer rubbish, the facts were all there when we as a country voted to Leave - many voted on the promise that they would get a deal as that’s what all the Leave campaigners said we would get. We voted Leave and we need to Leave and I support that, but we need to Leave with a deal We are a Parliamentary democracy, if you cut Parliament out of it as you request then we would not be a democracy at all - your only democratic voice is in the vote where you put an MP into Parliament from your constituency I don’t like it, our system is totally archaic and undemocratic, but that’s the little bit of democracy we have so let’s not give it totally up to the Government (if we had, we would be living with Theresa May’s dreadful deal)
Total rubbish, democracy was the vote, not abiding by that vote,is a dictatorship,MPs undermining democracy should be put in prison. Parliament and the house of commons have both failed to be democratic, should both be scrapped and replaced with one chamber, with no power to ignore a democratic peoples vote.
